The title of the film was taken from the song "Seeti Maar" from DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham. Seetimaarr was theatrically released on 10 September 2021, coinciding with Ganesh Chaturthi, and received positive critical reviews. However, it collected ₹15.10 crore within the first eight days against a production budget of ₹25 crore.

Produced by Chitti Kiran Ramoju & Radhakrishna Telu the film stars Karthik Rathnam, Naveen Chandra, Krishna Priya and Suhas in prominent roles. The film premiered on 11 June 2021 on Aha. The film is set in 2003 and based on the caste system in India.
