Korrapati Ranganatha Sai, better known as Sai Korrapati, is an Indian film producer and distributor who works predominantly in Telugu cinema . [1] [2]

Early life and career

He is born in Pallapadu. He ventured into Telugu film distribution in 1999 with Seetaramaraju. He owns a theatre Radhika in his home town Bellary. He distributed blockbuster movies in Telugu film for over fifty feature films. He ventured into film production with Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo. He is an angel investor in Sillymonks, PGO, Nalgonda Eagles in Telangana Premier Kabaddi. In 2012, he founded the film production company Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram. [3]

Yalamanchili Venkata Satyanarayana Chowdary is an Indian Telugu cinema writer, director, producer, distributor, exhibitor and a music company owner. He made his debut as a director in 1998 with the film Sri Sita Ramula Kalyanam Chootamu Raarandi produced by Nagarjuna under the banner "Great India Entertainments". He then directed Seetharama Raju starring Nagarjuna and Nandamuri Harikrishna, and Yuvaraju starring Mahesh Babu. He then established his own production house "Bommarillu Vari" and started producing his own directorial efforts with Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo. A. M. Rathnam is an Indian film producer, lyricist, screenwriter, and director known for his works in Telugu and Tamil cinema. Under the gamut of Sri Surya Movies Entertainment, Hyderabad, a movie production house owned by him, he has produced blockbusters in Telugu such as Karthavyam (1990), Peddarikam (1992), Sneham Kosam (1999), and Kushi (2001). The film was produced by Sai Korrapati's Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram with an estimated budget of 30–40 crore. It was filmed simultaneously in Tamil language with the title Naan Ee. The film stars Sudeepa, Nani, and Samantha. M. M. Keeravani composed the songs and the background score while K. K. Senthil Kumar was the director of photography. Janardhana Maharshi and Crazy Mohan wrote the dialogue for the Telugu and Tamil versions, respectively.

An adaption of the 1897 French play Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand, the plot revolves around a young girl Prabhavati (Khanna) and two men Venky (Shaurya) and Uday (Avasarala) who love her.

Jyo Achyutananda is a 2016 Indian Telugu-language comedy drama film directed by Srinivas Avasarala and produced by Sai Korrapati on Varahi Chalana Chitram. Nani is an Indian actor, producer and television presenter who works predominantly in Telugu cinema and appears in a few Tamil language films. He made his acting debut with Mohana Krishna Indraganti's 2008 comedy film Ashta Chamma, an Indian adaptation of Oscar Wilde's play The Importance of Being Earnest. After Ashta Chamma's commercial success, Nani played the lead roles in three Telugu films in the next two years: Ride (2009), Snehituda (2009) and Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu (2010). In 2011, Nani collaborated with B. V. Nandini Reddy on the romantic comedy film Ala Modalaindi which was profitable. The same year, he made his Tamil cinema debut with Anjana Ali Khan's Veppam, a crime drama set in the backdrop of North Chennai. The following year, Nani collaborated with S. S. Rajamouli and Gautham Vasudev Menon on the Telugu-Tamil bilingual Eega and the romance film Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu respectively. Vijetha (transl. Winner) is a 2018 Indian Telugu-language action drama film, starring debutant Kalyaan Dhev, Murali Sharma and Malavika Nair. Rakesh Sashii is the director, and Sai Korrapati and Rajani Korrapati are the producers. The film was released on 12 July 2018. Dhev won SIIMA Award for Best Male Debut – Telugu at the 8th SIIMA for his role in the film.

The SIIMA Award for Best Film – Telugu is presented by Vibri media group as part of its annual South Indian International Movie Awards for Telugu films. The award was first given in 2012 for films released in 2011.
