Saint-Georges, often unofficially known as Saint-Georges-de-Champlain, [1] was a former village municipality and is now a sector (secteur) of the city of Shawinigan.
Until 1919, Saint-Georges had been known as Village Turcotte. It merged with Shawinigan in a municipal amalgamation on January 1, 2002. In the Canada 1996 Census its population was 3,929.
From 1916 to 2001, Saint-Georges had its own mayor and its own city council. [2] The mayors were:

Saint-Tite is a town in the province of Quebec, Canada, north of Trois-Rivières, in the Mékinac Regional County Municipality (RCM) and in the Mauricie administrative region. In the 19th Century, the Batiscanie economy was mainly founded on forestry and agriculture. With many small businesses, Saint-Tite expanded through the production of leather goods and various types of shops. Saint-Tite became a capital of the region, especially concerning education, health and social services. Today, tourism counts as an important economic activity. Its chief industries were forestry, agriculture and leather goods production.

The Radnor Township is located in the administrative region of Mauricie, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. Today, the administration of this territory is under the city of Shawinigan and Mekinac Regional County Municipality (RCM). Rectangular, the Canton is about 5 km wide and 38 km deep, oriented northwest to southeast. The central part of the township is in La Mauricie National Park, on the west bank of the Saint-Maurice River which cut diagonally this township.
