Salvation is the third studio album by Finnish rock band Smack. It was released in 1987.
Pain of Salvation is a Swedish progressive metal band led by Daniel Gildenlöw, who is the band's main songwriter, lyricist, guitarist, and vocalist. Pain of Salvation's sound is characterised by riff-oriented guitar work, a broad vocal range, oscillation between heavy and calm passages, complex vocal harmonies and the structures of their albums, syncopation, and polyrhythms. Thus far, every album released by the band has been a concept album. Lyrically, the band tends to address contemporary issues, such as sexuality, war, the environment, and the nature of God, humanity, and existence.
The Exies were an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1997. Their name, "The Exies", is short for "The Existentialists". Their two Virgin Records releases, Inertia (2003) and Head for the Door (2004), have sold over 400,000 copies combined.
The Years 1979–1997 is a greatest hits compilation released by Australian rock band INXS on 10 December 2002. It is roughly the Australian equivalent of the American double-disc retrospective, Shine Like It Does: The Anthology (1979-1997), although it substitutes out several tracks that appeared on the American compilation in favor of later tracks like "By My Side" and "Baby Don't Cry" and full-length versions of many songs that only appeared in their single versions on the American release. This album also includes two previously unreleased tracks which were not featured on Shine Like It Does.

"Smack My Bitch Up" is a song by British rave group the Prodigy. It was released in November 1997 as the third and final single from the album The Fat of the Land. The song was voted by Mixmag readers as the third greatest dance track of all time. Although the song was not as big a commercial success as their previous singles, it gained a cult following.

It was the last album that he recorded with the record company before being released from his contract. The title track, "If I Lost You" and "Start The Car" were released as singles, although the latter became the first single of his career to miss Top 40 on the country charts.
Live to Win is the second solo album from Kiss vocalist, guitarist and co-founder Paul Stanley, released on October 24, 2006. The album's title track was featured in the South Park episode "Make Love, Not Warcraft", twenty days prior to the album's release. Stanley last released a solo album in 1978, Paul Stanley, which was officially released as a Kiss album. Comparing the two albums, Stanley said "It's not 1978 anymore... It's certainly the same mentality, and certainly I'm a better singer today. My perspective and where I'm at in my life at this point, and what I've experienced and seen, brings something else to the table that wasn't there then. But I still look back on that album as a really great snapshot of who I was and what I was doing then." Stanley supported the album's release with a club tour in late 2006.

The album was released in the United States on 29 June 2010 in partnership with EMI.
