Sam Stitt (born September 28, 1981, in Arlington County, Virginia) is an American rower. He rowed for and graduated from McLean High School in McLean, Virginia before attending Rutgers university. He finished 5th in the men's quadruple sculls at the 2008 Summer Olympics.

At the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, he again crewed the eight which this time won the bronze medal. His crewmates this time were Alec McLean, Ivan Sutherland, Trevor Coker, Peter Dignan, Lindsay Wilson, Joe Earl and Dave Rodger and Simon Dickie (cox). In both Olympic races, he was the stroke.
