Sameer Phaterpekar is an Indian score composer known for his work in Hindi films. [1]
Sameer Phaterpekar began working in films as a musician in 1983. He has worked with composers such as R.D.Burman, Kalyanji-Anandji, Rajesh Roshan and Laxmikant–Pyarelal. While working under the duo, he most notably worked as a guitarist for the song ''Hawa Hawaii'' for the film Mr. India (1987). In 2002, Phaterperkar began working as an independent music composer along with lyricist Anand Bakshi and composed his first album ''Khoobsurat'' under the label Venus Records & Tapes. He has provided scores for Hindi, Marathi and Tamil films. He scored the 2005 film Dombivli Fast , which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film. He has also been widely associated with director Nishikant Kamat, having provided scores for his films, Evano Oruvan (2007), Mumbai Meri Jaan (2008), Force (2011) and Drishyam (2015) and Madaari (2016). Evano Oruvan is a 2007 Tamil-language drama film directed by Nishikant Kamat who made his debut in the Tamil film industry with the film. It is a remake of Kamat's critically acclaimed Marathi film, Dombivli Fast, which is loosely based on the Michael Douglas starrer 1993 Hollywood film Falling Down. It stars Madhavan and Sangeetha, with director Seeman acting in a pivotal role.
Anandan "Drums" Sivamani is an Indian percussionist. He plays many instruments including drums, octoban, darbuka, udukai, ghatam and kanjira. Sathuvachari Varadarajan Mudaliar, also known as Vardhabhai and Vardha, was an Indian crime boss. From the early 1960s to the 1980s, he was, along with Karim Lala and Haji Mastan, one of the most powerful mob bosses in Bombay. His origin is Sathuvachari in North Arcot district of Tamil Nadu, from where his father migrated to Tuticorin to work in shipping business. He was born in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu.

Dombivli Fast is a 2005 Indian Marathi-language drama film directed by Nishikanth Kamat. It is the story of a middle class bank employee, Madhav Apte, an ordinary, law-abiding and honest citizen who faces constant frustration with the injustice and corruption that pervades in all walks of his life. The film portrays Apte's mental breakdown as he reaches his breaking point, and his rampage as a vigilante across Mumbai to set things right. The film stars Sandeep Kulkarni in the lead with Shilpa Tulaskar and Sandesh Jadhav.
Paiyaa (transl. Boy) is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language action-adventure film directed by N. Linguswamy and produced by N. Subash Chandra Bose under the banner Thirupathi Brothers.
