Sameer Zuberi is a physician at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow, Scotland, [2] [3] and Honorary Chair in Paediatric Neurology (School of Medicine, Dentistry & Nursing) at the University of Glasgow. He is also editor of a semi-monthly academic journal, European Journal of Paediatric Neurology and has served as president of the European Paediatric Neurology Society. [4] He received the Ambassador for Epilepsy Award of the International League Against Epilepsy. [5]

In 2017, he was elected to the National Academy of Medicine in recognition of his contributions to American medicine.

Victor Dubowitz, FRCP, Hon FRCPCH is a British neurologist and professor emeritus at Imperial College London. He is principally known along with his wife Lilly Dubowitz for developing two clinical tests, the Dubowitz Score to estimate gestational age and the other for the systematic neurological examination of the newborn.

James Rutka is a Canadian neurosurgeon from Toronto, Canada. Rutka served as RS McLaughlin Professor and Chair of the Department of Surgery in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto from 2011 – 2022. He subspecializes in pediatric neurosurgery at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), and is a Senior Scientist in the Research Institute at SickKids. His main clinical interests include the neurosurgical treatment of children with brain tumours and epilepsy. His research interests lie in the molecular biology of human brain tumours – specifically in the determination of the mechanisms by which brain tumours grow and invade. Subramanian Kalyanaraman is an Indian neurosurgeon and a former head of the Department of Neurosurgery at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. He was known for his pioneering techniques in stereotactic surgery and is an elected fellow of a number of science and medical academies including the National Academy of Medical Sciences and the Indian Academy of Sciences. Neil Simson Gordon, was a Scottish paediatric neurologist, who conducted research into eponymic diseases including chronic handicaps, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, disorders of languages and learning disabilities. Gordon was one of the first to initiate comprehensive multidisciplinary assessment centres for children. He has been described as the "wise grand old man of UK paediatric neurology" and first specialist paediatric neurologist to be appointed outside London.

Lewis Spitz is a paediatric surgeon who is internationally recognised as a leader in paediatric surgery and is known for his work on congenital abnormalities of the oesophagus, particularly oesophageal atresia, oesophageal replacement and gastroesophageal reflux especially in neurologically impaired children. The European Journal of Paediatric Neurology is a bimonthly peer-reviewed medical journal that covers all aspects of pediatric neurology. It was established in 1997 and is published by Elsevier on behalf of the European Paediatric Neurology Society. The first issue was published by Saunders on behalf of the EPNS. The editor-in-chief is Sameer Zuberi of the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow, Glasgow, United Kingdom.
