Sammy Johnson (September 22, 1952) is an American former professional football player who was a running back for six seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for the San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings, and Green Bay Packers. He played college football for the North Carolina Tar Heels. [1]

Samuel Adrian Baugh was an American professional football quarterback who played 16 seasons with the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the TCU Horned Frogs, where he was a two time All-American prior to being selected by the Redskins in the first round of the 1937 NFL draft. With the Redskins, Baugh won NFL Championships in 1937 and 1942 and led the NFL in completion percentage eight times, passing yards four times, and passing touchdowns once.

Sammy Dye Knight Jr. is an American former professional football player who was a safety in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the USC Trojans and was signed by the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent in 1997. Knight was also a member of the Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Giants. He was also an assistant coach for USC.

The 1988 Miami Hurricanes football team represented the University of Miami during the 1988 NCAA Division I-A football season. It was the Hurricanes' 63rd season of football. The Hurricanes were led by fifth-year head coach Jimmy Johnson and played their home games at the Orange Bowl. They finished the season 11–1 overall. They were invited to the Orange Bowl, where they defeated Nebraska, 23–3.

Johnson Park is a multi-purpose sports ground on the northern outskirts of Yeovil, Somerset and is home to the Yeovil Sports and Social Club. The main website can be found at: www.yeovilsportsclub.co.uk. Between 1951 and 1967, Somerset County Cricket Club played 12 first-class cricket matches on the ground, and Somerset also played two List A matches there, one each in 1969 and 1970. The ground was named after Stanley Johnson, a local benefactor, who donated the field for use by the community for sports purposes in 1948. Johnson Park is still, technically, the home of Yeovil Cricket Club although the team actually disbanded a number of years ago. For many years Johnson Park was also home to Yeovil Rugby Club who moved to new premises at Yeovil Showground and established the Ivel Barbarians rugby team in the 1990s. Johnson Park is currently home to Yeovil Tennis Club www.yeoviltennisclub.co.uk, Pen Mill Football Club and Yeo Bowmen Archery Club. It is also the base for a number of other organisations and has a thriving social element.

Sammy Hagar & Friends is the sixteenth studio album by American hard rock musician Sammy Hagar, released on September 24, 2013, by Frontiers Records.

The 1979–80 season was Liverpool Football Club's 88th season in existence and their 18th consecutive season in the First Division. Liverpool won its 12th league title, and its second in successive seasons. David Johnson was the top scorer while Kenny Dalglish, Phil Neal and Phil Thompson were regularly starting in the side. In the European Cup, there was an early disappointment with a loss to Dinamo Tbilisi in the first round. Liverpool went on to lose in the semi-finals of the FA Cup to the eventual runners-up, Arsenal, after a four-game marathon. They also lost in the semi-finals of the Football League Cup to the eventual runners-up, Nottingham Forest, who lost in the final to Wolverhampton Wanderers, a side captained by former Liverpool captain Emlyn Hughes, who left Liverpool before the start of the league season.

The Saint Lucia national cricket team represents the country of Saint Lucia in cricket. The team is a member of the Windward Islands Cricket Board of Control, which itself is a member association of the West Indies Cricket Board. Sammy Hagar and the Circle is a rock supergroup band originally formed in Miami in 2014, consisting of vocalist Sammy Hagar, bassist Michael Anthony, drummer Jason Bonham and guitarist Vic Johnson. The group released a live album called At Your Service on 19 May 2015, and a live DVD of the same name in December of that same year.

Sammy-Jo Johnson is an Australian cricketer who plays as a right-arm medium-fast bowler and right-handed batter for New South Wales Breakers in the Women's National Cricket League and Sydney Thunder in the Women's Big Bash League. In the former competition, she played for Queensland Fire from 2011 to 2020 before joining the Breakers for 2020–21. In the latter competition, she played for Brisbane Heat from the first season of the competition in 2015–16, until she signed for the Thunder for 2020–21.

The album was produced by Hagar, Jaimeson Durr and guitarist Vic Johnson, and debuted at No. 4 on the US Billboard 200 chart, making it Hagar's second highest charting album to date.
