Samuel Morgan (born September 28, 1981) is a retired American mixed martial artist. A professional from 2001-2008, he competed for the UFC, was a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter 2 and also fought in the Strikeforce, EliteXC, King of the Cage, and Shooto promotions. [1]
Morgan wrestled at Roosevelt High School (Minneapolis) and attended Dunwoody Technical School. [2]
Morgan made his professional debut in 2001 and compiled a record of 16-6 with notable wins over Aaron Riley and Duane Ludwig before becoming a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter 2.
Morgan was picked fifth by Matt Hughes. Competing for Team Hughes, and in his only fight during the show, was defeated by Luke Cummo after being knocked out from a knee strike.
Morgan then fought at The Ultimate Fighter 2 Finale on November 5, 2005 against Josh Burkman. Morgan was knocked out 21 seconds into the fight due to a slam.
After picking up two wins in outside promotions, Morgan made his UFC return at UFC Fight Night 6 on August 17, 2006 against Forrest Petz. Morgan was defeated via unanimous decision in the biggest blowout in UFC history, with judges scores of 30–27, 30–26 and, 30–23.
After leaving the UFC, Morgan picked up another win in an independent promotion before facing Cung Le at Strikeforce: Four Men Enter, One Man Survives on November 16, 2007. Morgan was defeated in the third round via TKO due to a body kick.
Morgan made his next appearance at ShoXC: Elite Challenger Series against Paul Daley and was defeated in the first round via TKO. Morgan then fought Fabrício Camões at ShoXC: Hamman vs. Suganuma 2 and was defeated via rear-naked choke submission 47 seconds into the fight.
Morgan faced Duane Ludwig at Strikeforce: Payback on October 3, 2008. Morgan lost via first-round TKO.

Cung Le is an American actor, retired mixed martial artist, Sanshou fighter and kickboxer. Le is perhaps best known in mixed martial arts for competing in Strikeforce, holding a record of 7–1 with the organization before its demise. He defeated Frank Shamrock to become the second Strikeforce Middleweight Champion before vacating the title to further pursue his acting career. He competed as a middleweight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), holding a record of 2–2 with the organization. In kickboxing and sanshou, he is a former International Kickboxing Federation Light Heavyweight World Champion, having a professional kickboxing record of 17–0 before moving to mixed martial arts.
Andrei Arlovski is a Belarusian-American professional mixed martial artist and actor, who is currently a free agent. A former UFC Heavyweight Champion, he competed in the heavyweight division for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and holds the record for most wins (23) in UFC heavyweight history. Arlovski has also competed for Strikeforce, WSOF, Affliction, EliteXC, ONE FC and M-1 Challenge.

Joseph Christopher Stevenson is a retired American mixed martial artist fighting out of Hesperia, California. Coached by Matt Hughes, Stevenson rose to prominence by becoming The Ultimate Fighter 2 Welterweight Tournament Winner. Following a drop in weight class and two-year undefeated streak, he was ranked among the top UFC Lightweight competitors, culminating into a title shot for the vacant UFC Lightweight Championship against B.J. Penn at UFC 80: Rapid Fire. Stevenson fought most of his career as a Lightweight and made his Featherweight debut at UFC Live: Kongo vs. Barry. He is the former King of the Cage Lightweight Champion.
Robert Glenn Lawler is an American former professional mixed martial artist who competed between 2001 and 2023. He is a former UFC Welterweight Champion, former EliteXC Middleweight Champion, and has formerly competed in Strikeforce, PRIDE, and the IFL. Nicknamed "Ruthless", he is known for his aggressive fighting style, and was considered a fan favorite. Three of Lawler's title bouts, against Johny Hendricks, Rory MacDonald, and Carlos Condit earned numerous awards for the Fight of the Year in their respective years.

Jonathan Goulet is a Canadian retired mixed martial artist. A professional from 2001 until 2010, Goulet fought in the UFC. He earned his nickname, "The Road Warrior," after taking a fight on very short notice, traveling to the fight venue without his trainers or cornermen. During his career he was noted for his ever-changing hair colors and using his hair to advertise sponsors.
The Ultimate Fighter 2 was the second season of the mixed martial arts reality television series The Ultimate Fighter. The season featured a heavyweight and a welterweight division, with 9 fighters initially in each division. The UFC coaches for this season were welterweight and middleweight champions Matt Hughes and Rich Franklin. Season 1 coach and former UFC champion Randy Couture hosted and designed the team challenge segments, which if won would allow the winning team to pair a fighter from their team against another in elimination matches. The finale aired on November 5, 2005, and it set a ratings record for the UFC with a 2.0 overall rating. This season featured no coaches' fight because Hughes and Franklin had refused to fight each other, owing to their friendship. Although released on DVD in 2005, it has been set for re-release on September 18, 2007.
