Sandy Nafis (born March 6,1955) is an American politician who served in the Connecticut House of Representatives from the 27th district from 1999 to 2015. [1] [2]
Hartford is the capital city of the U.S. state of Connecticut. It was the seat of Hartford County until Connecticut disbanded county government in 1960. Willimantic is a city located in the town of Windham in Windham County,Connecticut,United States. It is a former Census-designated place and borough,and is currently organized as one of two tax districts within the Town of Windham. Known as "Thread City" for the American Thread Company's mills along the Willimantic River,it was a center of the textile industry in the 19th century. Originally incorporated as a city in 1893,it entered a period of decline after the Second World War,culminating in the mill's closure and the city's reabsorption into the town of Windham in the 1980s. Heroin use,present since the 1960s,became a major public health problem in the early 2000s,declining somewhat by the 2010s. Though the city was a major rail hub,an Interstate Highway has never passed within ten miles,despite early plans to connect it.

Both theories attempt to explain circulation. 2nd century Greek physician Galen's theory about the physiology of the circulatory system remained unchallenged until the works of Ibn al-Nafis,for which he has been described as "the father of circulatory physiology".
Susan Bysiewicz is an American politician and attorney who is the 109th lieutenant governor of Connecticut,serving since January 9,2019. She previously served as the 72nd secretary of the state of Connecticut from 1999 to 2011. She was briefly a candidate for governor of Connecticut in 2010,before dropping out to run for Connecticut Attorney General. She was disqualified from running for the office by the Connecticut Supreme Court and announced in 2011 that she was running for the United States Senate in the 2012 election to replace the retiring Joe Lieberman. She lost the Democratic primary to U.S. Representative Chris Murphy,who went on to win the general election.

Caliph Muhammed Bello writing in his book Infaq al-Mansur claimed descent from Prophet Muhammad through his paternal grandmother's lineage called Hawwa,Alhaji Muhammadu Junaidu,Wazirin Sokoto,a scholar of Fulani history,restated the claims of Shaykh Abdullahi bin Fodio in respect of the Danfodio family been part Arabs and part Fulani,while Ahmadu Bello in his autobiography written after independence replicated Caliph's Muhammadu Bello claim of descent from the Arabs through Usman Danfodio's mother,the historical account indicates that the family of Shehu dan Fodio are partly Arabs and partly Fulani who culturally assimilated with the Hausas and can be described as Hausa-Fulani Arabs,Prior to the beginning of the 1804 Jihad the category Fulani was not important for the Torankawa (Torodbe),their literature reveals the ambivalence they had defining Torodbe-Fulani relationships. They adopted the language of the Fulbe and much ethos while maintaining a separate identity.
