Sathyan Anthikad is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and lyricist who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. In a career spanning five decades he has directed more than 50 films, been the lyricist for 12 films and been the scriptwriter for 6 films. He is the recipient of several accolades including a National Film Award, five Kerala State Film Awards and three Filmfare Awards. He received the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Humour in 2019 for his book, Eeswaran Mathram Sakshi.

Varavelpu (transl. Welcoming) is a 1989 Indian Malayalam-language black comedy film directed by Sathyan Anthikad and written by Sreenivasan, starring Mohanlal, Revathi, Sreenivasan, Thilakan, Murali, Innocent, and Jagadish. The film was produced by K. Rajagopal. It depicted trade union problems plaguing Kerala and the issues created by union members and the dirty politics which is prevalent in present governance and is narrated in a satirical dark comedy

The film stars Mohanlal, Sheela, and Rahul Pillai. It was Mohanlal's 300th film. The film received generally positive reviews from the critics and was a commercial success at the box office.
Reenu Mathews is an Indian actress who has acted in Malayalam films. She works as a cabin crew member for Emirates (airline) in Dubai. She made her debut in Immanuel (2013), opposite Mammootty, directed by Laljose. She has acted with Mohanlal in Ennum Eppozhum, directed by Sathyan Anthikad & with Prithviraj Sukumaran in Sapthamasree Thaskaraha. She has paired with Mammooty again in Praise the Lord.
Ennum Eppozhum is a 2015 Indian Malayalam-language comedy-drama film directed by Sathyan Anthikad and written by Ranjan Pramod based on a story by Raveendran. It was produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the production company Aashirvad Cinemas. It stars Mohanlal and Manju Warrier, alongside a supporting cast, including Innocent, Reenu Mathews, Jacob Gregory, Lena, and Renji Panicker. It also marked the reunion of Mohanlal and Manju Warrier after 17 years. Ennum Eppozhum was released across India on 27 March 2015 and met with mixed reviews from critics. The film was a commercial success though at the box office. The song "Malarvaka Kombathu" won Kerala State Film Award for Best Singer for P. Jayachandran.
Hesham Abdul Wahab is an Indian music director, Music Producer, singer and audio engineer. Best known for his compositions for the soundtrack of the 2022 Malayalam film Hridayam and the music album Qadham Badha(transl. Step Forward) produced by British singer-songwriter Sami Yusuf. Wahab is the recipient of a Kerala State Film Award, SIIMA Award and IIFA Award for music direction.
Jomonte Suvisheshangal is a 2017 Indian Malayalam-language family drama film directed by Sathyan Anthikkad and written by Iqbal Kuttippuram. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Mukesh, Aishwarya Rajesh and Anupama Parameshwaran. Aishwarya Rajesh made her Malayalam debut through this film.
