Fresno County, officially the County of Fresno, is a county located in the central portion of the U.S. state of California. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 1,008,654. The county seat is Fresno, the fifth-most populous city in California.

Washington Union High School is a high school in the rural community of Easton in Fresno County, California. Founded in 1892, Washington Union is most likely the second oldest high school in Fresno County. The school district encompasses roughly 90 square miles in the heart of the central San Joaquin Valley. The mascot for Washington Union is the Panthers, with school colors being purple, white, grey, and black. The school has a large and diverse population of students from the Fresno metropolitan area.
Washington Union was one of the few schools in Fresno County that operated as a single school district until becoming unified in 2011 with two feeder schools, American Union Elementary and West Fresno Elementary. In addition to West Fresno and American Union, it is fed by four other schools in the area that operate their own elementary and middle schools. The new K-12 district serves over 2,560 students. Rialto Unified School District is a school district in San Bernardino County, California, serving most of Rialto, sections of Colton, Fontana and San Bernardino, and the unincorporated community of Lytle Creek. Juan Arambula is a former California State Assemblyman. He represented the 31st district. Arambula was elected to the Assembly in 2004. While Arambula had announced that he would retire in 2008, he ran again that year and won his final term. He was a Democrat until June 2009, when he became an independent. Orange Cove HIgh School is a public high school serving students grades 9–12 located in Orange Cove, California, in the Central Valley of California in the United States. It is one of the three high schools operated by the Kings Canyon Unified School District. It is zoned to the city and surrounding communities of Orange Cove, including unincorporated communities within immediately surrounding Fresno County as of 2010. Students participate in the CIF Central Section. In 2023, the school received an mixed ratings from the California Department of Education.
