Saradhi Studios Entrance

Saradhi Studios is the first studio established in Hyderabad, after the formation of Andhra Pradesh state. It was built by the Raja of Challapalli, Srimantu Raja Yarlagadda Sivarama Prasad Bahadur. [1] The first movie pictured in this studio is Maa Inti Mahalakshmi directed by Gutha Ramineedu. [2]

The Nizams were the rulers of Hyderabad from 18th-through-20th-century. Nizam of Hyderabad was the title of the monarch of the Hyderabad State. Nizam, shortened from Nizam-ul-Mulk, meaning Administrator of the Realm, was the title inherited by Asaf Jah I. Kurnool is a city in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. It formerly served as the capital of Andhra State (1953–1956). The city is often referred to as "The Gateway of Rayalaseema". It also serves as the district headquarters of its Kurnool district. As of 2011 census, it is the fifth most populous city in the state with a population of 484,327. It is located on the banks of the Tungabhadra river. Although the area has been inhabited for thousands of years, modern Kurnool was founded in the 16th century CE with the construction of the Konda Reddy Fort.

Lala Deen Dayal Indian photographer (1844–1905)

Raja Lala Deen Dayal, famously known as Raja Deen Dayal) was an Indian photographer. His career began in the mid-1870s as a commissioned photographer; eventually he set up studios in Indore, Mumbai and Hyderabad. He became the court photographer to the sixth Nizam of Hyderabad, Mahbub Ali Khan, Asif Jah VI, who awarded him the title Raja Bahadur Musavvir Jung Bahadur, and he was appointed as the photographer to the Viceroy of India in 1885.

M. Visvesvaraya Indian civil engineer, scholar, statesman and Diwan of Mysore (1860–1962)

Sir Mokshagundam Vishveshwarayya, FASc, often referred by his initials, MV, was an Indian civil engineer, statesman and the 19th Diwan of Mysore, serving from 1912 to 1919. He started his primary education in Bangalore, received his BSc degree from the University of Madras, and then DCE from the University of Bombay through its affiliated institution and 3rd oldest Engineering College in Asia, College of Engineering, Pune.
