Ernst Ingmar Bergman was a Swedish film and theatre director and screenwriter. Widely considered one of the greatest and most influential film directors of all time, his films have been described as "profoundly personal meditations into the myriad struggles facing the psyche and the soul". Some of his most acclaimed works include The Seventh Seal (1957), Wild Strawberries (1957), Persona (1966) and Fanny and Alexander (1982), which were included in the 2012 edition of Sight & Sound's Greatest Films of All Time. He was also ranked No. 8 on the magazine's 2002 "Greatest Directors of All Time" list.

The Making of Fanny and Alexander is a 1984 Swedish documentary film directed by Ingmar Bergman which traces the making of his film Fanny and Alexander. Its running length is 110 minutes and it is photographed by Arne Carlsson. It debuted at the Swedish Film Institute on 16 September 1984, with Bergman in attendance to give a speech. It then aired with a television repeat of Fanny and Alexander in Sweden on 18 August 1986. In 2011 in Region A, The Criterion Collection released The Making of Fanny and Alexander on Blu-ray as part of their release of Fanny and Alexander.
Intermezzo is a 1936 Swedish drama film directed and co-written by Gustaf Molander about a concert violinist falling in love with his daughter's piano teacher. The cast includes Gösta Ekman and Ingrid Bergman in the leads. This film led to Bergman gaining her contract with David O. Selznick and acting in a 1939 American remake opposite Leslie Howard. It was later remade again as the 1980 film Honeysuckle Rose.

Family Four were a Swedish pop group who recorded during the 1960s and 1970s. They were made up of Berndt Öst, Marie Bergman, Agnetha Munther and Pierre Isacsson. They won Melodifestivalen twice, in 1971 with "Vita vidder" and in 1972 with "Härliga sommardag". They went on to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest on these two occasions. They finished sixth in 1971 and 13th in 1972. They also represented their home country Sweden at the opening ceremony of the 1974 FIFA World Cup.

She started her solo career in 1974. She has during the years released 13 own-written records and 2 jazz albums and has received numerous awards. In 1994 she again represented Sweden at the Eurovision, this time with Roger Pontare, setting a record as the singer who has represented Sweden at the ESC the most times. This was equalled by Carola Häggkvist in 2006. Marie has performed at the Roskilde Festival four times.
