Iliev made her WTA Tour main-draw debut at the 2023 Internationaux de Strasbourg, after qualifying into the singles main draw, having received a qualifying wildcard, and in doubles as a wildcard partnering Séverine Deppner. [2] [3]

She is the fifth wildcard in tournament history to win the title, joining defending champion Angelique Kerber, Samantha Stosur, Maria Sharapova, and Steffi Graf.
