Sarah Siskind (born April 15, 1978) is an American folk singer and songwriter.
Siskind grew up in North Carolina in a musical household. She learned the piano at an early age, began writing songs at age eleven and recorded her first album at fourteen. [1]
Her debut album, Covered (2002), was released independently and included appearances by jazz guitarist Bill Frisell and Jennifer Kimball. [2] The album's songs were about love, family, and relationships.
Her song "Simple Love" was recorded by Alison Krauss on the album A Hundred Miles or More: A Collection (Rounder, 2007) and received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Female Country Vocal Performance. She toured with Bon Iver, who often finished his concerts with her song "Lovin's for Fools". [1]
Siskind's songs have been recorded by Jeff Austin, Brendan Benson, Madi Diaz, Gabe Dixon, Ari Hest, Wynonna Judd, Claire Lynch, Della Mae, Angaleena Presley, Maia Sharp, Randy Travis, Curtis Wright, and the Infamous Stringdusters. [3]

The Infamous Stringdusters are a progressive acoustic/bluegrass band. The band first emerged in 2006 with the limited release of a five-song extended play CD The Infamous Stringdusters, followed in 2007 by their first album Fork in the Road. Both of these were on Sugar Hill Records. The band consists of Andy Hall (Dobro), Andy Falco (guitar), Chris Pandolfi (banjo), Jeremy Garrett (fiddle), and Travis Book. The band has become known for a complex, distinctive, and groove-friendly sound along with a bluegrass theme.
Sarah Jarosz is an American singer-songwriter from Wimberley, Texas. Her first album, Song Up in Her Head, was released in 2009 and the tune "Mansinneedof" was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of Best Country Instrumental Performance. Her second album, Follow Me Down, released in 2011, received a Song of the Year nomination from the Americana Music Association's 2012 Honors and Awards. Her third album, Build Me Up from Bones, was released on September 24, 2013 through Sugar Hill Records. Build Me Up from Bones was nominated for Best Folk Album at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, and its title track was nominated for Best American Roots Song. In 2016 Jarosz released her fourth album, Undercurrent. The album won two Grammy awards.

Rising Appalachia is an American Appalachian folk music group led by multi-instrumentalist sisters Leah Song and Chloe Smith. Leah also performs as a solo artist. Jeff White has performed and produced albums with many artists including: Alison Krauss, Vince Gill, The Chieftains, Lyle Lovett, Tim O'Brien, The Travelin' McCourys, Michael Cleveland and The Earls Of Leicester. White won the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, for Best Bluegrass Album with The Earls of Leicester. One of Jeff's key mentors is award-winning fiddler Michael Cleveland. Jeff and Michael have earned four International Bluegrass Music Awards for Instrumental Recorded Performance of the Year. Jeff produced several of Michael Cleveland's albums. Jeff has toured with banjo picking Earl Scruggs and Louise Scruggs. Jeff White has produced and released four solo albums: in 1996 The White Album, in 1999 The Broken Road, in 2013 Renegade Revelations and in 2016 Right Beside You.
