Sarge is a multidirectional shooter arcade video game released by Bally Midway in 1985. Two players play at once, switching between tanks and helicopters. Players can fight each other. The game has two sets of joysticks.
Beetle Bailey is an American comic strip created by cartoonist Mort Walker, published since September 4, 1950. It is set on a fictional United States Army post. In the years just before Walker's death in 2018, it was among the oldest comic strips still being produced by its original creator. Army Men is a series of video games developed by 3DO and Global Star Software. It is based on various conflicts between four kinds of plastic army men, distinguished by their color: the Green, the Tan, the Blue, and the Grey. Two other factions, the Red and the Orange, as well as a much smaller army, the Black, also contribute to the story. Two additional factions, the Galactic Army and the Alien Army, were introduced in Army Men: Toys in Space.
Gary Nathaniel Matthews Sr., nicknamed "Sarge", is an American former professional baseball left fielder, who played 16 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB). After his playing days, Matthews was a color commentator for Philadelphia Phillies broadcasts. He is the father of former big league outfielder Gary Matthews Jr. The Matthews are one of seven father/son combinations in Cubs history; another son, Delvon, was a member of Milwaukee's Minor League Baseball (MiLB) system in 2000–2001.

Charles Evard "Gabby" Street, also nicknamed "The Old Sarge", was an American catcher, manager, coach, and radio broadcaster in Major League Baseball during the first half of the 20th century. As a catcher, he participated in one of the most publicized baseball stunts of the century's first decade. As a manager, he led the St. Louis Cardinals to two National League championships (1930–31) and one world title (1931). As a broadcaster, he entertained St. Louis baseball fans in the years following World War II.
Sarge Steel is a detective/spy character published by Charlton Comics during the 1960s. As he was published during the time of Charlton's Action Heroes line of superheroes, and had loose ties to some, he is sometimes included with that group. He was purchased by DC Comics along with the other "Action Heroes".
Army Men Advance is a top-down shooter video game developed by DC Studios and published by the 3DO Company exclusively for Game Boy Advance. Much like Army Men: Sarge's Heroes, the story has General Plastro and his army of tan figurines have decided to take over the world and it is up to Sarge and reporter Vikki Grimm to thwart the conquest. Throughout the game, the player is required to rescue team members, infiltrate tan bases, escape from a jail, investigate an extra terrestrial presence, and retrieve communications equipment. The player can choose to play as either Sarge or Vikki, but the quests for each are identical and once a character has been chosen it is impossible to switch to the other unless the player wants to start again from the first mission.
Sarge Frye Field was a baseball stadium in Columbia, South Carolina and served as home field of the University of South Carolina Gamecock baseball team until the 2008 season. The stadium held 6,000 people and was named after a longtime grounds keeper of the school's athletic fields. On February 21, 2009, USC began playing at the new Carolina Stadium. The last game at Sarge Frye was played on May 17, 2008. The field was named after Weldon B. "Sarge" Frye on May 11, 1980. It was demolished in 2010.
Army Men: Sarge's War is a third-person shooter video game developed by Tactical Development and published by Global Star Software for Microsoft Windows, Xbox, PlayStation 2 and GameCube. It was initially developed by series creator The 3DO Company but after that company's bankruptcy was purchased and completed by Global Star Software. Sarge's War is a third installment in Sarge's Heroes subseries. The game is more mature and darker than earlier games in the series. Sarge makes no comical moves, holes are blown into soldiers, and the weapons are also made of metal.
Norris James Coleman is an American retired professional basketball player who was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers in the second round of the 1987 NBA draft. A 6'8" forward from Kansas State University, Coleman played in only one National Basketball Association (NBA) season.
Army Men: Sarge's Heroes 2 is a third-person shooter video game developed and published by The 3DO Company for Nintendo 64, Game Boy Color, PlayStation and PlayStation 2. The game is a direct sequel to Army Men: Sarge's Heroes. Unlike the previous game which was more dark in tone, this game has more of a lighthearted storyline.
Army Men: Toys in Space, known in Europe as Army Men in Space, is a real-time tactics video game developed and published by The 3DO Company exclusively for Microsoft Windows. It is the only game in the series to feature Tina Tomorrow and the Space Aliens.
Army Men: RTS is a real-time strategy video game developed by Pandemic Studios and published by The 3DO Company for PlayStation 2, and Microsoft Windows. The GameCube version was published by Global Star Software, and developed by Coyote Developments. The game follows Sarge and his Heroes in the Green Army, as they fight the Tan Army across a variety of battlefields, over the course of 15 Campaign missions, 8 Special Operations missions and, 8 Great Battles. The Special Operations missions are absent from the PC release. The game was the final Army Men game from The 3DO Company. The Greenies hit dirt paths, linoleum floors and carpets and weave through flower beds, strewn boxes and toy train sets to collect plastic and electricity to build snipers to clear the field from afar or amass an army that overwhelms the opposition. The plot is inspired by the movie Apocalypse Now, with many pop culture references, as the team of Green commandos must hunt down a rogue and apparently insane colonel, Colonel Blintz.
Robert Leroy "Sarge" Kuzava was an American professional baseball player, a left-handed pitcher for the Cleveland Indians (1946–1947), Chicago White Sox (1949–1950), Washington Senators (1950–1951), New York Yankees (1951–1954), Baltimore Orioles (1954–1955), Philadelphia Phillies (1955), Pittsburgh Pirates (1957) and St. Louis Cardinals (1957). He was born in Wyandotte, Michigan and attended St. Patrick High School. In 2003, Kuzava was inducted into the National Polish-American Sports Hall of Fame.

Army Men II is a real-time tactics video game developed and published by The 3DO Company for Microsoft Windows and Game Boy Color. The game differs from the first installment in that it has battles in both the "real world" and the "plastic world". It was also the first to introduce the concept of portals between the real world and their world, a topic that was expanded upon in later games.
The World of Cars Online was a massively multiplayer online racing game based on the Cars film series. The game was under development with Open Beta, which launched on March 1, 2010. There was a sneak peek of the World of Cars called the Test Track which started in October 2008 and ended in November 2009 to make way for Open Beta. The site launched on June 29, 2010. Each car was given 2,010 coins, an Open Beta Participant Badge, and a Founder Badge. The game was closed down by Disney on February 8, 2012.
Army Men: Sarge's Heroes is a third-person shooter video game and the fourth entry in The 3DO Company's Army Men series (1998–2003), which are based on the green plastic figures of the same name. Its Nintendo 64 and PlayStation versions were developed and published by The 3DO Company. The port for the Dreamcast was developed by Saffire and published by Midway, while another for Microsoft Windows was published by GT Interactive. Excluding the 1999 North American release for the Nintendo 64 version, the game was released in 2000.
