Sasha Pardoe (born 19 January 2006) is a British cyclist who competes in Freestyle BMX. She won gold at the 2024 European BMX Championships.
From Stourbridge, she is coached by her father, Gavin, a former time trial road racer for Great Britain. [2] As a teenager she was in the Army Cadet Force. [3] In 2023, she was completing an apprenticeship to train as a chef. [2]
She competed in the Freestyle Park for Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the 2022 European Championships in her major championship debut, and placed sixth overall. [4] [5] That year, she finished second behind Charlotte Worthington at the British National Championships. [2]
Her second competitive senior international competition was the 2023 World Championships in Glasgow, in which she also qualified for the final. [2]
In July 2024, she became British national champion. [6] She won gold at the 2024 European BMX Championships in Cadenazzo, Switzerland in September 2024. [7]
Shanaze Danielle Reade is a British former bicycle motocross (BMX) racer and track cyclist whose prime competitive years began in 2002. She has won the UCI BMX World Championships three times. Reade is the daughter of a Jamaican father and an Irish mother.

Benjamin Proud is an English competitive swimmer, representing Great Britain at the Olympic Games, the FINA World Aquatics Championships and LEN European Aquatics Championships, and England at the Commonwealth Games. Proud specialises in sprint freestyle and butterfly races, specifically the 50-metre distance in both. He is the 2022 World Champion in the 50 metre freestyle, his second long course world title. He is the 2017 world champion in the 50-metre butterfly. He is only the third male swimmer to be simultaneously short-course and long-course World Champion at 50 metre freestyle, after César Cielo and Florent Manaudou. in 2024, at his third attempt he won his first Olympic medal, a silver, in the 50 metre freestyle at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Tully Alicia Jacqueline Kearney is a British Paralympic swimmer. Kearney currently competes in the S5/SB4/SM5 classification for swimmers with physical disabilities. She won gold and silver at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games and followed this up at the Paris 2024 Games with two further gold medals, including retaining her 100 m freestyle S5 title. Since first competing at the World Para Swimming Championships in 2013 she has won thirteen World Championship medals, ten of which are gold. Kearney is a multiple British, European and World record holder.

Freya Ann Alexandra Anderson is a British swimmer, known primarily for her achievements as a freestyle sprinter, especially as a relay swimmer for Great Britain. Anderson achieved nine relay gold medals at three editions of the European Championships, including 5 golds in a single meet at the 2020 European Championships in Budapest, as well as two bronze medals at the Commonwealth Games and a bronze at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships. In July 2021, she won gold as part of the British team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in mixed 4 × 100 metre medley relay, swimming the freestyle anchor leg in the heat.

In February 2024, Gorbenko won a silver medal at the Doha World Championships in the women's 400 meters individual medley. Gorbenko represented Israel at the 2024 Summer Olympics in swimming in the 100m backstroke, 200m backstroke, 100m breaststroke, 200m individual medley, 400m individual medley, 4x200m freestyle relay, and mixed 4x100m medley relay.

Bethany Kate Shriever is a British cyclist, competing as a BMX racer. A World Junior champion in 2017, and winner of the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup final event in Zolder in 2018, in 2021 Shriever won both the Olympic and World titles, equalling the feat of Colombian Mariana Pajón, who won Olympic silver.

Great Britain, the team of the British Olympic Association (BOA) which represents the United Kingdom, competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris from 26 July to 11 August 2024. The delegation of 327 athletes included 172 women and 155 men and featured 73 medallists from previous Games. The team was made up of athletes from the whole United Kingdom including Northern Ireland. Additionally some British overseas territories - Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Caymen Islands - compete separately from Britain in Olympic competition having received IOC recognition prior to the institution of rules restricting membership to sovereign states.
The 2023 UCI BMX Freestyle World Championships were held in Glasgow, Scotland between 5 and 10 August 2023. Ordinarily held as part of the UCI Urban Cycling World Championships, in this year the world championships in the disciplines of Park and Flatland both form part of the larger 2023 UCI World Cycling Championships. A 2023 UCI Trials World Championships, generally held with the BMX championships as the UCI Urban Cycling World Championships were held separately.
