Charlotte Worthington MBE (born 26 June 1996) is a British cyclist and Olympic gold medallist who competes internationally in Freestyle BMX.
Worthington was born in 1996. Worthington took up BMX seriously at the age of 20, and worked full-time as a chef at a Mexican restaurant near Chorlton for three years before Freestyle BMX was added to the Olympics in 2017. Worthington was accepted on to the Great Britain Cycling Team programme in Freestyle Park and 2019 saw her win the inaugural British and European titles, [1] before she became the first ever British woman to win a world medal in the discipline, taking bronze at the UCI Urban Cycling World Championships in Chengdu behind Hannah Roberts of the US and the Chilean rider Macarena Perez Grasset. [2] [3] She now lives and trains full-time in Corby, Northamptonshire, which is home to 'Adrenaline Alley’ skate park. She also trains at the Asylum skate park near Nottingham. [4] In June 2021 she won bronze in Women's BMX Park at the 2021 UCI Urban Cycling World Championships in Montpellier, again behind Hannah Roberts with Nikita Ducarroz in silver. [5]
Worthington was chosen to be part of the UK's 26 strong cycling squad for the postponed 2020 Tokyo Olympics where she won gold at the Cycling BMX Freestyle park final. On her second run she became the first woman in history to land a 360-degree backflip in competition. [6] [7]

Worthington was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2022 New Year Honours for services to BMX racing. [9] [10]
Lee Valley VeloPark is a cycling centre in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London, England. It is owned and managed by Lee Valley Regional Park Authority, and it was opened to the public in March 2014. The facility was one of the permanent venues for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

With six Olympic medals, having won both the team pursuit and the omnium at both the 2012 and 2016 Olympics and madison at the 2020 Olympics, along with a silver medal from the team pursuit at the 2020 Olympics, she is both the most successful female cyclist, and the most successful British female athlete, in Olympic history.
Philip Hindes MBE is a British track cyclist, specialising in sprints. He holds dual nationality, having been born in Germany to a British father. Having initially competed for Germany at a junior level, in 2010 he switched to the British Cycling programme. At the 2012 Summer Olympics he won the gold medal in the Men's team sprint, and again at the 2016 Summer Olympics he won the gold medal in the Men's team sprint.
Elinor Jane Barker is a Welsh road and track racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Team Uno-X Pro Cycling Team. Representing Great Britain in international competitions, Barker is an Olympic champion, a three-time World champion and seven-time European champion in the team pursuit, as well as a three-time World champion in the points and scratch races, a World champion in the Madison, a two-time European Madison champion and one time European Elimination race champion. Representing Wales, Barker was also the 2018 Commonwealth Games Points race champion.

Representing Great Britain at the Olympic Games, European Championships and World Championships, and Scotland at the Commonwealth Games, Evans is an Olympic medalist in the team pursuit, a World points race champion, a six-time European champion in team pursuit (4), individual pursuit and the madison, and a Commonwealth Games medalist.

A World Junior champion in 2017, and winner of the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup final event in Zolder in 2018, in 2021 Shriever won both the Olympic and World titles, equalling the feat of Colombian legend Mariana Pajón, who won Olympic silver. In 2022 Shriever completed the full set of gold medals by winning the 2022 UEC BMX Racing European Championships; in doing so, she became the first BMX racing cyclist in history to hold all three titles simultaneously.
