Satrughan Mahato is a Nepalese politician belonging to CPN (Unified Socialist). [1] He is the incumbent minister of Madhesh Province government. [2] [3] He is member of Provincial Assembly of Madhesh Province.
Mahato is also the leader of party the party having been selected unopposed. [4]
Satrudhan Mahato has served previously as member of Constituent Assembly. Mahato left CPN (UML) to join the CPN (Unified Socialist) led by former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal. [5]

The provinces of Nepal are governed by provincial governments which form the second level of governance in the country;after the federal government. The provincial governments are established,and their structure is defined by Part 13 of the Constitution of Nepal.

As of March 2022,the party had voted in favour of Dahal government and is an important ally in the governing coalition.
