Satyanand Bhogta is an Indian Politician and a member of the Rashtriya Janata Dal [1] political party. He is the ex cabinet minister for ministry of Labour Resources in Government of Jharkhand and a member of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly from Chatra constituency. [2] [3] [4] [5]

Career

He was twice the member of state legislative assembly from Chatra from 2000 to 2009. He was state Drinking water, Sanitation and agriculture minister. [6] [7] [8]

In 2014, he joined Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) after BJP denied ticket to him from Chatra. In Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election 2019, Satyanand Bhogta was elected as M.L.A. of Chatra as RJD candidate. [9] [10]

Views

In 2022, he showed his displeasure over the inclusion of Bhogta caste which was earlier in Scheduled Caste to Scheduled Tribe. [11] As he belongs to Bhogta community and he as well as people from Bhogta community will not be able to contest Chatra Assembly constituency which is reserved for Scheduled Caste. [12] According to him, it is a conspiracy against Bhogta as after inclusion in Scheduled Tribe, Bhogta people will not be able to contest Schedule Caste reserved seat and Bhogta people will not be able to win in Scheduled Tribe seat as they are minority in Scheduled Tribe reserved seat area. Kushwaha was a leader of Bhartiya Janata Party, who represented Hazaribagh Sadar Assembly constituency as Member of Legislative Assembly for three times. Before joining active politics he was associated with pedagogy. Kushwaha won the assembly elections of 1990, 1995 and 2000 from Hazaribagh Assembly constituency. Besides, Babu Lal Marandi's cabinet, he also served as a minister in Arjun Munda's cabinet. In 2005 Jharkhand Assembly elections, he was defeated by Saurabh Narain Singh— the grandson of Kamakhya Narain Singh.

Rajendra Prasad Yadav was an Indian politician who was elected as a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly from Atri constituency in 2005 and 2015 as the candidate of Rashtriya Janata Dal.

Gayatri Devi Yadav was an Indian politician. She was elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly. She was elected from Gobindpur constituency as well as Nawada constituency in several times from 1970 to 2005 in a career spanning over 30 years. Her son Kaushal Yadav was also elected to Bihar Assembly from Gobindpur. She was a long term member of the Indian National Congress from 1970 to 2000 then she joined Rashtriya Janata Dal in 2000. She died on 9 April 2023, in Patna, Bihar.

Masood Asad Madani is an Indian politician and Deobandi leader who had served as a Minister of State in the ND Tiwari Ministry in Government of Uttarakhand from 2002 to 2007. He is the younger brother of former Rajya Sabha Member, Mahmood Madani and son of Asad Madani. He was a Member of the Indian National Congress.

Sunder Lal, better known as Sunder Lal Kaka, was a veteran Indian politician. He served as Minister in Government of Rajasthan in Bhairon Singh ministry as Independent charge. He was elected to the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly for seven terms in a career spanning over six decades. He was also a popular dalit face in Shekhawati. He was a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party since 2003 after resigning Indian National Congress.
