Scenen er din (The stage is yours) is a Danish television show hosted by Bubber. It is the Danish version of former American show Star Search .
The show is the biggest talent show in Denmark and is split into four categories: junior song (8–14 years), dance, entertainment and adult song (from 15 years). Formerly, the entertainment category was known as comedy. It is broadcast by TV 2 and produced by Blu Productions.
The participants compete against each other, two against two through six preliminary rounds, and the round winners continue on to three semifinals. The winners qualify for the final, where the season winner wins 100,000 Danish kroner.
After every competitor has performed on stage, four judges give from one to five points each, for a maximum of 20 points.
While the next competitor performs, viewers can vote on their favorite by SMS. In the end the winner in each category are chosen.

Simone Egeriis, better known as simply Simone, is a Danish pop singer. She was born and raised in Slagelse, Denmark. She is known in Denmark for winning the Danish TV talent show Scenen er din in the category Junior Singing. She has since released three studio albums – her debut was called Vindens Farver or Colours of the Wind, the song from Disney's Pocahontas, with which she won Scenen er Din. She also plays the violin and the piano.
Denmark participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song "Believe Again" written by Lars Halvor Jensen, Martin Michael Larsson and Ronan Keating. The song was performed by Brinck. The Danish broadcaster DR organised the national final Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2009 in order to select the Danish entry for the 2009 contest in Moscow, Russia. Ten songs competed in a televised show where the winner was selected over three rounds of voting. The results of the first round were decided upon through the combination of jury voting and public voting while the results in the second and third round were determined solely by public televoting. "Believe Again" performed by Brinck was the winner after gaining the most public votes in the third round.
Norway participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "My Heart Is Yours" written by Hanne Sørvaag and Fredrik Kempe. The song was performed by Didrik Solli-Tangen. In addition to participating in the contest, the Norwegian broadcaster Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK) also hosted the Eurovision Song Contest after winning the competition in 2009 with the song "Fairytale" performed by Alexander Rybak. NRK organised the national final Melodi Grand Prix 2010 in order to select the Norwegian entry for the 2010 contest in Oslo. 21 entries competed in the national final that consisted of three semi-finals, a Last Chance round and a final. Eight entries ultimately qualified to compete in the final on 6 February 2010 where the winner was determined over two rounds of voting. In the first round of voting, a public televote exclusively selected the top four entries to advance to the competition's second round—the Gold Final. In the second round of voting, "My Heart Is Yours" performed by Didrik Solli-Tangen was selected as the winner following the combination of votes from four regional jury groups and a public televote.

In the second round of public televoting, "Silent Storm" performed by Carl Espen was selected as the winner with 53,712 votes.
