Schleese Saddlery Service Ltd. is a Canadian manufacturer of custom-fitted saddles for show-jumping and dressage. It was started in 1986 by Jochen Schleese, a German saddler, in Stouffville, Ontario. [1]

Bates Saddlery was formed when Mr. George Bates borrowed $100 from his sister, bought a sewing machine and began to make saddles on the veranda of his home in Perth, Western Australia. Saddlery Brands International is the parent company to Arena Saddles, Bates Saddles and Wintec Saddles.
The Hoosier Theatre is a 225-seat historic theatre located at 209 Ferry Street in Vevay, Switzerland County, Indiana. It was built in 1837 as a warehouse and store to serve the town's large Ohio River traffic. Over the years it has housed a saddlery, the local post office, a tavern, the offices of the Vevay Newspaper, and a theatre, which it became in 1926. It was abandoned in 1955 and sat vacant until 1983, when Historic Vevay, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation was formed to purchase and restore the building. It re-opened in 1987 and continues to operate.
A ring bit is a horse bit that includes a ring passed through the horse's mouth and encircling the lower jaw. There are three primary designs. The most common ring bit design today, sometimes called a Dexter ring bit, is used in conjunction with a snaffle bit, while a historic ring bit design was also used on some spade bits in certain vaquero traditions originating in Mexico. A third style is a simple ring, the Tattersall or yearling bit, used alone on a bridle, usually for use in-hand.

Reisterstown Historic District is a national historic district in Reisterstown, Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. Its development is inseparably identified with the roads that converge to form Main Street. They are Maryland Route 30 and Maryland Route 140. The earliest structures, including several of log, date to the late 18th century, although the town was founded in 1758. It developed as a convenient stopping place for weary travelers from the outer reaches of Western Maryland or Pennsylvania and many businesses catered to the traveler: including taverns and inns, smithshops, saddleries, stables, waggoners.
The Mixteca Region is a region in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico, part of the broader La Mixteca area which covers parts of the states of Puebla, Guerrero and Oaxaca. The region includes the districts of Juxtlahuaca, Silacayoapam, Huajuapan, Coixtlahuaca, Teposcolula, Tlaxiaco and Nochixtlán. The largest cities are Huajuapan and Tlaxiaco. The Des Moines Saddlery Company Building is a historic building located in downtown Des Moines, Iowa, United States. It was built in 1881 by J. Rubelman of Muscatine, Iowa. He choose to move his operation to Des Moines because of its location on two rivers and the 13 railroads that served the city. It was one of four saddlery firms in a two block area. Rubelman's company made saddles, harnesses and leather works for 20 years. In the years since it has housed a shoe maker, rubber company, stove manufacturer, glove company, the Krispy Kone Company and the Kaplan Hat Company. The later was also the name of the restaurant that was located on the first floor.
Clifford–New Glasgow Historic District is a national historic district located at Clifford, Amherst County, Virginia. The district encompasses 43 contributing buildings, 6 contributing sites, and 6 contributing structures in the village of Clifford. The district includes a variety of residential, commercial, and institutional buildings built between about 1772 and 1961. Notable buildings include the St. Mark's Episcopal Church, the Saddlery (1814), and the Clifford Ruritan Building. Located in the district and separately listed are Brick House and Winton.
Barden and Ribee Saddlery is a heritage-listed former saddlery at 473 High Street, Maitland, in the Hunter region of New South Wales, Australia. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.
The Hanson-Downing House is a historic house in Kearney, Nebraska. It was built in 1886 as a cottage orné by Charles E. Hanson, a Swedish immigrant. It later belonged to Wallace A. Downing, a businessman in the saddlery and harness industry. Since December 1930, it has housed the Kearney Woman's Club. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since December 10, 1980.
