Samuel Sonnyboy Tubman (born March 3), better known as Scientific, is a Liberian rapper and songwriter who is currently based in Ghana. [1] He released the Quincy B-assisted single "Shawty" in October 2014. [2] Between 2014 and 2016, he won Best Hip Hop Artist at the Liberian Music Awards. [3]
Samuel Sonnyboy Tubman was born in Bong County, Liberia. He grew up in Ghana in a refugee camp due to the first and second civil wars, which lasted from 1989 to 2003 in Liberia.
Cheddar signed Scientific to his label Wonda World Entertainment (WWE) in Ghana.[ citation needed ]
In 2011, Scientific performed his hit singles, "I Like You Girl", with top Ghanaian acts such as EL, Sarkodie and Jayso at the American Musician Fabolous Concert in Ghana. [4]
Scientific was nominated and won Artist of the Year and Hip Hop Artist of the Year at Liberia Music Award, USA in 2014.[ citation needed ] He also won the 2015 Edition of Liberia Music Award "Artist of the Year". [5]

He rose to fame in 2004 when he went by the stage name D-Lane in the Wonda World rap group. In March 2018, his single Muscatella was declared number one in Ghana by Ghud Music. He was also on Ghanaian based radio station Live Fm's top 10 songs three times. Quincy Luwokollie Borrowes, known professionally as Quincy B, was a Liberian singer, songwriter and record producer. He gained recognition in 2013 after releasing his debut single "My Dream", which features rapper Scientific. In 2014, Quincy B released the Tan Tan B-assisted track "State of Emergency", which promotes awareness of the Ebola virus epidemic in Liberia. Quincy B's music explored hipco, R&B, and afropop. He primarily sung in Kolokwa English and took great pride in being Liberian. On March 3, 2017, Quincy B died in an automobile accident. His posthumous album, Mr. All the Time, was issued by ALM Records and released on March 11, 2017. It comprises thirteen tracks and consists entirely of previously released singles.
