Scott Cam (born 24 November 1962) is an Australian television presenter, a recipient of the Gold Logie appearing on several lifestyle programmes on the Nine Network. He is best known as the host of the hit reality TV renovation show The Block .
Cam first appeared on Nine's popular lifestyle show Backyard Blitz in 2000, alongside Jamie Durie, doing building segments until the show's cancellation in 2006. In between, he appeared on the successful Renovation Rescue (2004–present) before appearing in his own live lifestyle program Our Place . However, this was cancelled after just five episodes in 2005. From 2008 until 2010, he appeared on Domestic Blitz .
Cam hosted the 2010 series of The Block [1] and has returned as host for every season ever since. [2] He won the Silver Logie for Most Popular Presenter and the Gold Logie for Most Popular Australian TV Personality in 2014 for his work on The Block. [3] Cam also appeared as himself on a send-up of The Block on the comedy program The Joy of Sets in 2011. [4] He also hosted renovating show Reno Rumble which began airing in 2015 through to 2016 over two seasons until its cancellation.
In addition to his television work, he has written two books on building and renovating: Out The Back and the follow-up, Home Maintenance For Knuckleheads. He is also a presenter on the Triple M Saturday morning breakfast show Wrong Side of the Bed.
Scott Cam also heavily features as the brand ambassador for Mitre 10 Australia, and has been doing so since 2011.
He was the subject of an episode of the Australian television genealogical program Who Do You Think You Are? which screened on SBS on 30 April 2019.

Backyard Blitz is a Logie Award winning Australian lifestyle and DIY television program that aired on the Nine Network between 2000 through to 2007 before its cancellation. It was hosted by Jamie Durie and was created by Don Burke and produced by his CTC Productions team.

Domestic Blitz is an Australian lifestyle and DIY television series that originally aired on the Nine Network from 18 May 2008 to 18 April 2010. The series is based on the format of Backyard Blitz, which had previously aired on the Nine Network, and generally occupied its same former timeslot of Sunday 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Rather than rewarding nominated candidates with solely a garden makeover though, Domestic Blitz introduced the element of house renovations as well. The series exhibits similarities to the American television series Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and the Angry Anderson A Current Affair "challenges" (1994–1998) in that the candidates either come from a disadvantaged background, or include someone with a terminal illness.

The red carpet arrivals were hosted by Karl Stefanovic, Lisa Wilkinson, Jules Lund and Ruby Rose, while Richard Wilkins and Natalie Gruzlewski presented the Myer Logie Minute during the ceremony. The Big Bang Theory's Johnny Galecki was one of the international guests. Musical performers at the event were John Mayer, Gabriella Cilmi with the cast from the stage musical Fame, k.d. lang and the Rogue Traders. John Foreman returned as musical director for the event. Susan Boyle was scheduled to perform but pulled out a few weeks before the ceremony, cancelling all her appearances in Australia. PJ Lane sang a tribute to his late father Don Lane. Early that year, Each network is restricted in the number of personalities and programs they can submit for consideration in the publicly voted category, including up to 10 names in both the Most Popular Actor and Actress categories, 15 names for Most Popular Presenter and 5 programs for Most Popular Drama. These restrictions often lead to controversy over those who are not listed in the voting form, and are not eligible to be nominated for an award.

Kerry Packer's War, and Puberty Blues each received five nominations. Television presenter Brian Henderson was inducted into the Logies Hall of Fame.

The series first aired on Tuesday 5 May 2015. On 28 October 2015, the series was renewed for a second season and aired on Monday 21 March 2016.
