The Scottish Schools Curling Championship is an annual curling competition held to determine the best school curling team in Scotland.

Contents

The current champions are Kelso High School, who defeated a team from St. Joseph's College in the final on 10 March 2019. [1]

Anna Ellinor Hasselborg is a Swedish curler who is the 2018 Olympic Champion in women's curling and a former World Junior Champion skip. In November 2019, she became the first curler in history to reign as the simultaneous holder of the European Curling Championship gold medal, the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship gold medal, and the Olympic gold medal.

The World Curling Championships are the annual world championships for curling, organized by the World Curling Federation and contested by national championship teams. There are men's, women's and mixed doubles championships, as well as men's and women's versions of junior and senior championships. There is also a world championship for wheelchair curling. The Scottish Mixed Curling Championship is the national mixed curling championship for Scotland. Team are composed of two men and two women, playing in alternating positions up the team, meaning the lead and third must be of the same gender, and likewise the second and fourth players. The championship has been held annually since 1976.

Kyle Smith is a retired Scottish curler from Guildtown, Perthshire. During his career, he skipped the British men's curling team at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, placing fifth. He also skipped Scotland at two European Curling Championships, two Winter Universiade and three World Junior Curling Championships, winning the event in 2013.

The Scottish Mixed Doubles Curling Championship is the national curling championship for mixed doubles in Scotland. The Championship has been held annually since 2007 and the winners proceed to represent Scotland at the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship.

Gina Aitken is a Scottish curler from Edinburgh. She won a silver medal as skip of the Scottish women's team at the 2015 World Junior Curling Championships and has competed in the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship five times.

Ross Whyte is a Scottish curler from Stirling. Skipping his own team, Whyte has won silver at the 2018 World Junior Curling Championships and won bronze at the 2019 World Junior Curling Championships and 2019 Winter Universiade. As alternate for the Bruce Mouat rink, he won two European championship titles and earned a silver medal in the men's team event of the 2022 Winter Olympics.
