Sean Doyle (born 3 September 1957) is an Irish boxer. He competed in the men's lightweight event at the 1980 Summer Olympics. [1]

Boxing is a combat sport in which two people, usually wearing protective gloves, throw punches at each other for a predetermined amount of time in a boxing ring.

The lightweight boxing competition at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow was held from 20 July to 2 August at the Olympiysky Sports Complex. 29 boxers from 29 nations competed.

Only two athletes from Guam, canoeist Sean Pangelinan and judoka Ricardo Blas Jr, have made it past the first round of competition. This was a decrease from the 1952 Summer Olympics, because the breaststroke event was split into the 200m orthodox breaststroke and the 100m butterfly event.
