Reginald Noble, better known by his stage name Redman, is an American rapper, DJ, record producer, and actor. He rose to fame in the early 1990s as an artist on the Def Jam label. He is also well known for his collaborations with his close friend Method Man, as one-half of the rap duo Method Man & Redman, including their starring roles in films and sitcoms. He was also a member of the Def Squad in the late 1990s.

Diplomat Records is an American hip hop record label founded by Harlem rapper Cam'ron. Dipset currently releases music under the independent label E1 music. In the early 2000s, Dipset was very popular for having star rappers with radio hits like Juelz Santana and Cam'ron and for their association with Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella records. In 2005, Dipset moved away from Roc-A-Fella and Cam'ron sold Juelz Santana's contract back to Def Jam. Between 2006 and 2009, Dipset was relatively quiet aside from Cam'ron and Jim Jones. However in 2010, they reunited and have begun to associate themselves with rapper Vado.

V's first major single, "Slow Down" produced by Grammy Award winners Tim & Bob, charted No. 1 on Billboard's U.S. Top R&B Chart and peaked at No. 8 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. The single was certified Gold by the RIAA. His second single, "Anonymous", was produced and featured a guest appearance from Grammy Award-winning producer Timbaland.

It is a recompilation album, which includes older songs and demos that he used to get signed. The lead single, "BaKardi Slang", became his first single to appear on a Billboard chart. The second single, "Ol' Time Killin'", was a minor hit. The album received generally favorable reviews from music critics.

"Burning Bridges" and "I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman" are the second and third singles respectively. The album also debuted at #9 on the Canadian Albums Chart. On November 17, Yes! was released on iTunes in the United States. The video for "I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman" was released on November 23 as promo for the US physical release in February 2010. The video for "Zambony" was released on July 14, 2010, as promo for the US and UK physical releases as well.

Raised in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Logic developed an interest in music as a teenager, and ventured into a musical career in early 2009, releasing Logic: The Mixtape and a mixtape titled Young, Broke & Infamous in 2010. Cydel Young, better known by his stage name CyHi the Prynce, is an American rapper and songwriter from Stone Mountain, Georgia. In 2009, Young signed his first major-label contract with Konvict Muzik, with the backing of Def Jam Recordings. In 2010, he signed with Kanye West's GOOD Music label imprint. Young went on to appear on West's highly acclaimed album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (2010) and has released nine mixtapes, with the latest being BHP II: NAACP (2015), a conscious hip hop concept mixtape about the history of black people in America and the sequel to Black Hystori Project, released in February 2014. He was released from his Def Jam contract in August 2015. In November 2017, he released his debut album, No Dope on Sundays, under GOOD Music and Sony Music, following years of label disputes and series of mixtapes spanning his career.
