The Seattle Polish Film Festival (SPFF) is an annual film festival, held in Seattle, Washington, showcasing current and past films of Polish cinema. [1] [2] It is produced by the Seattle-Gdynia Sister City Association and awards the Seattle Spirit of Polish Cinema awards as well as the Viewers Choice of Best Film.

The first edition of the SPFF was held in 1992. The 17th edition of the festival was held from April 10, 2009 through April 19, 2009. Members of the Jury included Brian Jones, PSG Films; Zbyszek Pietrzyk, SPFF; and Lance Rhoades from Seattle Film Institute and University of Washington. Viewers Choice Award at the 17th Seattle Polish Film Festival was presented to director Magdalena Piekorz for "Drowsiness" (Senność). The Seattle Spirit of Polish Cinema award for Best Drama was given to director Kasia Adamik for "Offsiders" (Boisko bezdomnych). Best Comedy award went to Tomasz Konecki for "A Perfect Guy For My Girl" (Idealny facet dla mojej dziewczyny), and the Best Short Film award was given to filmmaker Maciej Prykowski for his "What Nobody Knows" (Czego nikt nie wie). The Leon Schiller National Higher School of Film, Television and Theatre in Łódź is the leading Polish academy for future actors, directors, photographers, camera operators and TV staff. NYPFF is the only annual presentation of Polish films in New York City and the largest festival promoting and presenting Polish films on the East Coast.

The LA Film Festival is an annual film festival held in September in Los Angeles, California. It showcases independent, international, feature, documentary and short films, as well as web series, music videos, episodic television and panel conversations. Since 2001 it has been run by the non-profit organization Film Independent, which since 1985 has also produced the annual Film Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica.

Seattle Erotic Art Festival

Metro Manila Film Festival

The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) is an annual film festival held in Metro Manila, the Philippines. The festival, which runs from December 25 (Christmas) through New Years Day and into first weekend of January in the following year, focuses on Filipino films. During the course of the festival, only films approved by the jurors of the MMFF are shown in movie theaters. No foreign movies are shown except in 3D theaters and IMAX theaters. It is one of the two Filipino major film festivals to exclude foreign films in a week-long period, the other being the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino happening during August.

The Zee Cine Award (ZCA) is an awards ceremony for the Hindi film industry. They were instituted in November 1997 to award "Excellence in cinema - the democratic way".

International Adana Film Festival previously known as Altın Koza International Film Festival is a film festival of Adana, that was held 17 times since 1969 and took place every year since 2005. The event is organized by the Adana Metropolitan Municipality and takes place in June. Beginning from 2006, the scope of the festival is broadened to an international dimension within the framework of the cinema in Mediterranean basin countries.

Cinéma du Réel is an international documentary film festival organized by the BPI-Bibliothèque publique d'information in Paris and was founded in 1978. The Sonics played from 1967 until 2008, but relocated from Seattle to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and were renamed as the Thunder. 

The 37th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) is the annual film festival in Manila, Philippines that is held from December 25, 2011 until the first week of January 2012. During the festival, no foreign films are shown in Philippine theaters in order to showcase locally produced films.

International Festival of Independent Cinema <i>Off Camera</i>

International Festival of Independent Cinema Off Camera is a film festival held in Kraków, Poland, with up to 400 screenings annually, seminars, international stars, guests and jury. It is the first event of its kind in the country based on creative dialog between world experts representing other independent film competitions such as the Sundance Film Festival and CineVegas, as well as festivals in Bangkok, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Busan, Dubai, Kolkata, Los Angeles, Reykjavík, Rotterdam, Toronto, and Venice. Michelle Bello is a British Nigerian film director and film producer. She is also CEO of a Nigerian-based entertainment and publishing company, Blu Star Entertainment Limited. Bello was born in London, England.

Hyderabad Bengali Film Festival (HBFF) is a Bengali film festival in the city of Hyderabad and is being organized annually since 2014. The venue of the festival is the Prasad Film Preview Labs, Hyderabad. The first edition of the film festival was held in the year 2014. It is the only curated Bengali film festival in India.
