The Second Marri Chenna Reddy ministry (or also known as 16thministry of Andhra Pradesh) formed the executive branch of the Government of Andhra Pradesh after the Indian National Congress securing majority seats in the 1989 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. [1] [2]

The Telugu Desam Party is an Indian Telugu regional political party with influence in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It was founded by the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh N. T. Marri Chenna Reddy was an Indian politician active in several states. He was the 6th Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh from 1978 to 1980 and from 1989 to 1990. He also served as the governor of Uttar Pradesh (1974–1977), governor of Punjab (1982–1983), governor of Rajasthan from February 1992 to May 1993, and governor of Tamil Nadu from 1993 until his death. He was a leader of Indian National Congress Party.

Sarojini Pulla Reddy (1923-2013) was the second woman Mayor of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, veteran Indian National Congress leader and former minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Nallapareddy Srinivasulu Reddy, also known as NSR, was an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh state. He won as the MLA from five times. He represented the Gudur Constituency, Venkatagiri Constituency, once each, and Kovur Assembly Constituency for three terms. The Nellore barrage was named after him in February 2023.

Ananthula Madan Mohan was a former politician from undivided Andhra Pradesh who was a four-time Member of Legislative Assembly and three-time Minister in Andhra Pradesh holding various portfolios. Andhra Pradesh, retrospectively referred to as United Andhra Pradesh, Undivided Andhra Pradesh, or Ummadi Andhra Pradesh, was a state in India formed by States Reorganisation Act, 1956 with Hyderabad as its capital and was reorganised by Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014. The state was made up of three distinct cultural regions of Telangana, Rayalaseema, and Coastal Andhra. Goka Ramaswamy was an Indian politician of the Indian National Congress from undivided Andhra Pradesh. Ramaswamy served as a Minister in the erstwhile state of Andhra Pradesh from 1978 to 1982 holding various portfolios. He was elected twice to Ghanpur (Station) Assembly constituency of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 1978 and 1983 consecutively as a Congress Party candidate. He was also the Deputy Leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) between 1983 and 1985 in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly when N. T. Rama Rao's newly launched Telugu Desam Party (TDP) formed the government for the first time.

Penumatsa Sambasiva Raju is an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh. He was an eight-time member of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and a former minister in the undivided Andhra Pradesh. He was the only MLA who won eight time in the united Andhra Pradesh.

D. L. Ravindra Reddy is an Indian politician from the state of Andhra Pradesh belonging to Indian National Congress. He served six terms as a member of the legislative assembly in the undivided Andhra Pradesh.
