Seed of 6ix is a Memphis, Tennessee rap group composed of Locodunit (Thomas Dunigan) and Lil Infamous (Ricky Dunigan, Jr.), who are the nephews of the co-founder of hip hop group Three 6 Mafia, DJ Paul (Paul Beauregard). [1] Lil Infamous is also the son of former co-founder Lord Infamous (Ricky Dunigan). [2]
Locodunit and Lil Infamous started the group in late 2014 and released their debut album Faces of Gospel on February 6, 2015. The album is available on various digital platforms. [3] Their style is widely considered as horrorcore, crunk and gangsta rap. The group began in 2014 in Memphis, Tennessee with Lil Infamous (Ricky Dunigan, Jr.) and Locodunit (Thomas Dunigan) [1] for the sake of rapper DJ Paul[ clarification needed ]. Seed of 6ix released several Mixtapes & EPs starting with Planet 6ix Chpt 3.6 on May 1, 2015. As well as solo projects on Young N Dumb, their independent label. Signed to Scale-A-Ton Entertainment DJ Paul's label in 2018. DJ Paul [4] is responsible for bringing a fault into the reckoning against the group's musical career [ further explanation needed ][ clarification needed ] and has since produced numerous singles and the last work for the group was released the first album Faces of Gospel (2015). [5] The name comes from hip hop group Three 6 Mafia (The Seed of 6ix).
The duo is a collaboration between Lil Infamous and Locodunit, who are well-established individual recording artists in the underground hip hop scene in Memphis, Tennessee. [1] Their first collaboration was on the debut album "Planet 6ix Chpt 3.6" (2016), with them appearing regularly on each other's albums thereafter. [2]
In 2016, the duo released "Seed Of 6ix Chapter 2", which turned out to be the biggest commercial success for both artists. [2] The album was released on Young N Dumb. [6] The album reached number 62 on the Billboard 200, number 10 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and number 7 on the Top Rap Albums chart. Earlier, the artists had 2 appearances in the Top R&B / Hip-Hop chart among them, this was the first in the top 10. [2]
The first release of Scale-A-Ton Entertainment was a double singles titled "Break The Law" (2016), "Lyrical Drive By" (2017), "Get Buck" (2018). [1] It was released in 2018 by the independent label. [1]
Locodunit's younger brother, Ant Dunit (Timothy Dunigan), is also a rapper and sometimes appears on Seed of 6ix albums.

Three 6 Mafia is an American hip hop group from Memphis, Tennessee, formed in 1991. Emerging as a horror-themed underground hip hop group, they would eventually go on to enjoy mainstream success. Paul Duane Beauregard, better known by his stage name DJ Paul, is an American DJ, record producer, and rapper. He is a founding member of hip hop group Three 6 Mafia and the half-brother of rapper Lord Infamous. DJ Paul is also the half-brother of convicted drug lord Craig Petties. He is also a part owner of FaZe Clan.
Jordan Michael Houston III, known professionally as Juicy J, is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, he is a founding member of the Southern hip hop group Three 6 Mafia, established in 1991. He released ten studio albums with the group, which began as an underground act until attaining mainstream recognition and signing with Loud Records, an imprint of Columbia Records in 2000. The group's 2005 single, "Stay Fly" reached their furthest commercial success and peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100. Patrick Dhane Lanshaw, better known by his stage name Lil Wyte, is an American rapper. He is a member of the rap collective Hypnotize Minds and owner of the independent label Wyte Music.
Cedric Kelvin Coleman, professionally known by his stage name Frayser Boy, is an American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. He was formerly signed to Hypnotize Minds, the record label run by Three 6 Mafia founders DJ Paul and Juicy J, and had released three studio albums under the label: Gone on That Bay (2003), Me Being Me (2005), and Da Key (2008). At the 78th Academy Awards, he won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for "It's Hard out Here for a Pimp" along with Three 6 Mafia members Juicy J, Crunchy Black, and DJ Paul.

His lyrics touched on macabre subjects such as Satanism, mass murder, and torture, along with more traditional themes such as sex and drug use.
Lola Chantrelle Mitchell, better known by her stage name Gangsta Boo, was an American rapper. She rose to prominence as a member of Three 6 Mafia, which she joined at the age of 14. After releasing six albums, she left the group and its record label after the release of her second solo album, Both Worlds *69 (2001), due to financial disputes and issues regarding promotion of the album. Slumafia is the second collaborative extended play by American rappers Yelawolf and DJ Paul. It was released on April 16, 2021, by Slumerican and Scale-A-Ton. The album reunites Yelawolf with collaborator DJ Paul, of Three 6 Mafia, who produced the entirety of the EP. This marks the second Yelawolf project to be entirely produced by DJ Paul, following the release of the 2013 extended play, Black Fall. The album was part of Yelawolf's "April Onslaught", a series of weekly album releases in the month of April, which included Turquoise Tornado, Mile Zero, and Mudmouth. It was also released in close succession to the collaborative album Yelawolf Blacksheep, with rapper Caskey, which was released on February 19, 2021.
