Sekove Ravoka (born 27 June 1986) is a Fijian cricketer and a former captain of the Fiji cricket team. [1] [2] [3] Outside of cricket, Ravoka is also a police officer, and joined the Fiji Police Force in July 2020. [4]

In 2013, he was selected for the East-Asia Pacific team that played in the Australian Country Cricket Championship. [5] Ravoka has worked with Cricket Fiji in visiting schools in Australia. [6]

He played in the 2015 ICC World Cricket League Division Six tournament. [7] In August 2018, he was named as the captain of Fiji's squad for Group A of the 2018–19 ICC World Twenty20 East Asia-Pacific Qualifier tournament. [8] [9] [10] In April 2021, Ravoka was named in a Fiji's training squad ahead of the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup East Asia-Pacific Qualifier tournament in Japan. [11] In July 2022, he was named in Fiji's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup East Asia-Pacific Qualifier A in Vanuatu. [12] He made his T20I debut on 9 September 2022 against Vanuatu. [13]

The 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup East Asia-Pacific Qualifier was scheduled to be a tournament played as part of qualification process for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. It was scheduled to take place from 11 to 16 October 2021 in Japan, with the top team progressing to one of two global qualifiers. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full international status to Twenty20 men's matches played between member sides from 1 January 2019 onwards. Therefore, all the matches in the Regional Qualifiers would have been played as Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).

The 2022–23 ICC Men's T20 World Cup East Asia-Pacific Qualifier is a cricket tournament that forms part of the qualification process for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The first stage of the qualification pathway in the East Asia-Pacific (EAP) region consisted of two sub-regional qualifiers: Qualifier A in Vanuatu in September 2022, and Qualifier B in Japan in October 2022. The winner of each of the sub-regional qualifiers progressed to the EAP regional final, to be played in 2023, where they were joined by Philippines and Papua New Guinea. The winner of the Regional Final will qualify for the 2024 T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the United States.
