Unkle are a British musical outfit founded in 1992 by James Lavelle. Originally categorised as trip hop, the group once included producer DJ Shadow and have employed a variety of guest artists and producers.
Never, Never, Land is the second album by the British electronic music act UNKLE, released on 22 September 2003. On 24 October 2004 an expanded edition entitled Never, Never, Land Revisited was released. The original album debuted at No. 71 in Australia. It was promoted by four singles: "Eye for an Eye", "In a State", "Reign" and "Safe in Mind", which was released only as a 12" promo.

Psyence Fiction is the debut studio album by British-American electronic music group Unkle, released on 24 August 1998 by Mo' Wax. The creation of the album was helmed by the duo of James Lavelle and DJ Shadow, with the former overseeing the album's themes and the latter handling musical composition. Psyence Fiction also features contributions from a varied cast of guest musicians recruited by Lavelle.
Edit Music for a Film: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Reconstruction is a two-disc UNKLE remix album/sound collection mixing together various musical styles, movie soundbites and UNKLE production. This was done for the 'After Dark' event in the ICA, London. James Lavelle put together a mix of soundtracks from films that inspired him the most. As the album notes point out: 2001: A Space Odyssey, Dune, Dog Day Afternoon, Kill Bill, Sexy Beast, Training Day, and Blade Runner amongst others.

"Rabbit in Your Headlights" is a song by British electronic duo UNKLE. It was released as the lead single from their debut album Psyence Fiction (1998). The song features vocals from British musician and Radiohead member Thom Yorke. The song was written by Yorke and UNKLE member Josh Davis and produced by UNKLE, the track heavily utilizes samples from other songs. The track takes its title from a quote from the thriller film Jacob's Ladder (1990); dialogue from the film is also one of many samples on the song. The song also appears to sample the percussion from Talk Talk's "New Grass" from their album Laughing Stock (1991).
Global Underground 023: James Lavelle, Barcelona is a DJ mix album in the Global Underground series, compiled and mixed by James Lavelle. The album is mainly breaks and trip hop, which is far different from the progressive house of other albums in the Global Underground series. The album reached #19 on the Billboard Top Electronic Albums chart.
Global Underground 025: Deep Dish, Toronto is a DJ mix album in the Global Underground series, compiled and mixed by Deep Dish. The compilation reached the Billboard #1 Top Electronic Albums, #20 Independent Albums, and #29 Top Heatseekers. The release also has two Afterhours mixes, each mixed by Sharam and Dubfire individually.

Do Androids Dream of Electric Beats? is an UNKLE soundscape DJ mix, originally recorded for Radio Ape in Japan, Do Androids Dream Of Electric Beats was the first in a line of a series of UNKLESounds mixes. Due to its huge success it was bootlegged and can now be found in most record stores. The simple way to tell the difference between the two is that the bootleg has a barcode.
War Stories is the third studio album by English electronic music group UNKLE. The album was released in Japan on 20 June 2007, UK and Europe on 2 July 2007, and in North America on 24 July. War Stories debuted at number 58 in Australia. The cover art was designed by 3D of Massive Attack.
"Be There" is a song by British electronic group Unkle. It was produced by member DJ Shadow and written by him along with British musician Ian Brown, who is also featured on the song on vocals. The song is featured on 1999 bonus tracks editions of Psyence Fiction, and was released as the second single from the album. The track is, essentially, a vocal version of the instrumental track "Unreal" from Psyence Fiction.
Richard "Rich" File is a composer and music producer, best known for his work with James Lavelle as part of Unkle. He has also released singles under the alias Forme.

Stories for Film is a compilation album from British electronic music act Unkle, inspired by feature films created since Unkle's previous 2007 album War Stories, released on 7 July 2008. Unlike their previous album, the 2005 mix Edit Music for a Film: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Reconstruction, "End Titles..." is composed of original material. It features collaborators: Josh Homme, Black Mountain, Gavin Clark, Joel Cadbury, James Petralli, War Stories producer Chris Goss, Dave Bateman, and James Griffith of Lake Trout/Unkle’s touring band.

Despite its popularity on the band's album, War Stories and being used in several films, TV shows, promos and adverts, the song did poorly on the UK Singles Chart; peaking in at No.112 The music video was directed by Miguel Sapochnik and features actor Goran Višnjić.
