Sepp Schneider (born 3 June 1991) is an Austrian Nordic combined skier. [1] He competed in the World Cup 2015 season. [1]
He represented Austria at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun.
The International Ski and Snowboard Federation, also known as FIS, is the highest international governing body for skiing and snowboarding. It was previously known as the International Ski Federation until 26 May 2022 when the name was changed to include snowboard.
The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships is a biennial Nordic skiing event organized by the International Ski Federation (FIS). The World Championships was started in 1925 for men and opened for women's participation in 1954. World Championship events include Nordic skiing's three disciplines: cross-country skiing, ski jumping, and Nordic combined. From 1924 to 1939, the World Championships were held every year, including the Winter Olympics. After World War II, the World Championships were held every four years from 1950 to 1982. Since 1985, the World Championships have been held in odd-numbered years.
Martin Schmitt is a German former ski jumper who competed from 1997 to 2014. He is one of Germany's most successful ski jumpers, having won the World Cup twice; a gold medal at the Winter Olympics; four gold medals at the World Championships; and a ski flying world record. His and his countryman Sven Hannawald's success further popularized ski jumping in Germany, and with particular help from cable TV station RTL, their coverage received great acclaim in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Thomas Morgenstern is an Austrian former ski jumper who competed from 2002 to 2014. He is one of the most successful ski jumpers of all time, having won the World Cup overall title twice with 23 individual wins, the Four Hills Tournament and the Nordic Tournament once each, eight World Championship gold medals, and three Winter Olympic gold medals.

Mario Stecher is an Austrian former Nordic combined skier. Competing in six Winter Olympics, he won three medals in the 4 x 5 km team event with two golds and a bronze (2002). Stecher's best individual finish was fifth in the 10 km individual normal hill event at Vancouver in 2010.
Andreas Felder is an Austrian former ski jumper. During this period he dominated the sport, together with contemporaries Jens Weißflog and Matti Nykänen. He finished in the top three overall six times in the World Cup and won the 1990/91 overall. He won his first international championship medal at the 1982 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo with a silver medal in the team large hill event.
The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 1999 took place February 19–28, 1999 in Ramsau am Dachstein, Austria. The large hill ski jumping events took place at the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen. The 7.5 km Nordic combined sprint event debuted at these championships.
Josef "Sepp" Schiffner was an Austrian and German Nordic skier who competed in the 1950s. He was born in Altaussee. Competing in the 1952 and 1956 Winter Olympics, he earned his best finish of 11th in the Nordic combined event at Cortina d'Ampezzo in 1956. Schiffner also finished 69th in the 18 km cross-country skiing event at Oslo in 1952. After the 1956 Olympic Winter Games he competed for West Germany and won the Nordic combined event at Le Brassus [Swiss] on 15 January 1957.
The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 took place between 20 February and 3 March 2013 in Val di Fiemme, Italy, for the third time, the event having been hosted there previously in 1991 and 2003.
Trampolino Olimpico Italia is a ski jumping hill (K90), built in 1955 in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy. It was the site of the ski jumping, Nordic combined (K90/15.0) and team events for the 1956 Winter Olympics. The Nordic combined event used a shorter in-run to allow average jumps between 60 and 70 meters while the upper starting points on the in-run were calculated to allow jumps of 70 to 80 meters. The 1956 profile had a safety limit of 14.5 m beyond the critical point of 72 m.. Among many national and international competitions starting with the 1927 World Championships, was the inauguration of the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup in 1979. Since the venue lost its FIS-certification in 1990, the installation lies dormant. In its day, the Cortina Ski Jumping hill was regarded as one of the most innovative and still today as one of the most architecturally beautiful examples still in existence. The stadium holds a maximum of 40,000 spectators in the arena and an additional 10.000 in the stands on each side of the hill.
Josef Ferstl Sr., known as Sepp Ferstl, is a retired German World Cup alpine ski racer who won the Hahnenkamm, the world's most prestigious downhill race, in consecutive years (1978, 1979). He made his World Cup debut at the race in 1974 at age 19, and won a silver medal at the World Championships in 1978 in the combined.
Stefan Kraft is an Austrian ski jumper. He is one of the most successful ski jumpers of all time, having won the Ski Jumping World Cup and Ski Flying World Cup overall titles three times each, the Four Hills Tournament once and Raw Air Tournament three times, and three individual gold medals at the World Championships. Since March 2017, he has held the ski flying world record of 253.5 metres (832 ft).
The 41st FIS Nordic World Ski Championships were held from 20 February to 3 March 2019 in Seefeld in Tirol, Tyrol, Austria. It was the second time Seefeld in Tirol hosted the world championships, the event having been hosted there previously in 1985.
The 2014/15 FIS Nordic Combined World Cup was the 32nd world cup season, a combination of ski jumping and cross-country skiing organized by FIS. It started on 29 November 2014 in Ruka, Finland and ended on 14 March 2015 in Oslo, Norway.
Dominik Baldauf is an Austrian cross-country skier from Sulzberg. He competed in the World Cup 2015 season and represented Austria at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun and again in the 2017 World Championships in Lahti.
