A shopping center, shopping centre, also called a shopping complex, shopping arcade, shopping plaza or galleria, is a group of shops built together, sometimes under one roof.
A strip mall, strip center, strip plaza or simply plaza is a type of shopping center common in North America and Australia where the stores are arranged in a row, with a footpath in front. Strip malls are typically developed as a unit and have large parking lots in front. Many of them face major traffic arterials and tend to be self-contained with few pedestrian connections to surrounding neighborhoods. Smaller strip malls may be called mini-malls, while larger ones may be called power centers or big box centers. In 2013, The New York Times reported that the United States had 65,840 strip malls. In 2020, The Wall Street Journal wrote that in the United States, despite the continuing retail apocalypse starting around 2010, investments and visitor numbers were increasing to strip malls.
Farragut West station is a Washington Metro station in Downtown Washington, D.C., United States. The side-platformed station was opened on July 1, 1977, and is operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). Providing service for the Blue, Orange and Silver Lines, the station is located just west of Farragut Square with two entrances on I Street at 17th and 18th Streets NW.
The Sofia Metro is the rapid transit network servicing the Bulgarian capital city Sofia. It is the only metro in Bulgaria. It began operation on 28 January 1998. As of 2024, the Sofia Metro consists of four interconnected lines, serving 47 stations, with a total route length of 52.0 kilometres (32.3 mi) and also being among the top 20 of the most extensive European metro systems, ranking 14th as of 2023. The Metro links the densely populated districts of Lyulin – Mladost and Nadezhda – Lozenets, and serves the Sofia Airport.

Porvorim, is the de facto legislative and executive capital of the state of Goa as both the Goa Legislative Assembly and Secretariat are functioning from the same complex in the region of Alto Porvorim in porvorim.(Alto – Portuguese word meaning high or upper). It is also the De facto judicial capital of Goa. The High Court of Bombay at Goa is now functioning from here in a new building complex overlooking the Mandovi river. Earlier it was functioning from the Lyceum complex in Panaji. Porvorim is situated on the right bank of the Mandovi River, as de jure capital of Goa, Panaji is located on the opposite bank. Porvorim is considered an upmarket residential hub as it lies on the Mumbai–Goa highway NH66. Goa's largest shopping centre – Mall De Goa – is situated here.
Monument is a Tyne and Wear Metro station, serving the Monument area of the city of Newcastle upon Tyne in Tyne and Wear, England. It joined the network on 15 November 1981, following the opening of the third phase of the network, between Haymarket and Heworth. The station is named after Grey's Monument, which stands directly above it.

Vazrazhdane is a district in the centre of Sofia. As of 2012 it has 49,158 inhabitants. The district's area is 3.16 km2 (1 sq mi) or 2,5% of the total capital area. It has several neighbourhoods: the Zones B-2, B-3, B-4, B-5, B-18 and B-19 as well as Serdika. The territory of the regions is divided as follows: residential zone- 1.21 km2 (0 sq mi); parks, gardens and green zones- 1.36 km2 (1 sq mi); industrial zone- 0.15 km2 (0 sq mi); public zones including roads, squares and infrastructure- 0.43 km2 (0 sq mi).

Park Center Sofia, formerly City Center Sofia, is a shopping mall located in Sofia, Bulgaria, opened in the spring of 2006. It is south of the National Palace of Culture in the municipality of Triaditsa at the intersection of the Boulevards "Cherni vrah" and "Arsenalski", next to European Union Metro Station and diagonally opposed to the Hemus Hotel.
Greenbelt is a shopping mall located at Ayala Center, Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines, near Glorietta. It is owned by Ayala Malls, a real-estate subsidiary of Ayala Land, which is an affiliate of Ayala Corporation. It opened in 1988 after merging existing structures and is one of the Ayala Corporation's flagship projects. The mall offers a mix of high-end retail shops, restaurants, amenities, leisure and entertainment. Currently, the mall has five sections: two enclosed areas, two buildings with open-air shopping areas, and Greenbelt 5, which was opened in 2007.
Serdika Metro Station is an M1 and M4 lines station of Sofia Metro. It was put into operation on 31 October 2000. With the opening of Serdika II on 31 August 2012 the station became an interchange between the Red and Blue lines. However it is not a true interchange, but an interconnected station, in a similar manner to the Washington Metro’s Farragut West and Farragut North stations.
The Mall, Sofia, also known as Tsarigradsko Mall, was the largest shopping mall in the Balkans. Opened in spring 2010, The Mall claims it has a total built area of 62,000 square metres on six stories, three of which are underground. It claims to contain more than 240 shops, restaurants, recreations centres, bars, cafeterias. The Mall has a parking capacity for more than 2,800 vehicles. Bulgaria's largest Carrefour hypermarket at 9,000 square metres was within the Mall. The Mall can be found at 115 Tsarigradsko Shose. Beside the mall lies a business centre and the headquarters of Vivacom — the largest telecommunications company in Bulgaria. As of 2010, it has created 1,500 new jobs.
Serdika II Metro Station is an M2 line station of Sofia Metro. It was put into operation on August 31, 2012 and the station became transfer station between the Red and Blue lines together with Serdika, however it is not a true transfer station, but a tunnel-connection transfer station. Bulgaria's PM Boyko Borisov and the President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso inaugurated the new section of the Sofia Metro, which was funded with EU money. The initial project name of the Metro Station was Sveta Nedelya Square, but this was changed by the city council shortly before the opening of M2 line.
Paradise Center in Sofia, Bulgaria is the largest mall in Bulgaria. It opened doors on 28 March 2013. The main investors are Bulfeld, Sofia and construction company Comfort, Varna. The building is located in Hladilnika neighbourhood near the South Park. The infrastructure in the area is currently being upgraded by expanding of several boulevards and the metro system. Vitosha Metro Station of Sofia Metro line 2 has been servicing the shopping mall since July 2016.

The shopping center has the largest indoor amusement center; the largest indoor karting track for the country with an area of 7,500 m2 (81,000 sq ft); the largest department store, extending to 6,500 m2 (70,000 sq ft); free parking lot with a total of 3,500 parking spaces and VIP parking lot with 100 places.
