Sergey Leonidovich Bogdan (born March 27, 1962) is the chief test pilot (since 2000) for Sukhoi. [1] [2] He routinely performs at international air shows. [3]

In May 2011, Bogdan was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation by a Decree of the President of Russia. [4] He received the Gold Star medal  [ ru ], a sign of special distinction, during a ceremony held in the Kremlin. [5]
