Shagun Sarabhai (born 2 March 1987) is an India beauty queen who won the Miss India Worldwide [1] [2] India 2008 and Miss India Worldwide 2008 pageants, a beauty contest produced by the India Festival Committee (IFC) based in New York.

On 23 February 2008, she was crowned the new Miss India Worldwide 2008 at the finals in Johannesburg, South Africa.[ citation needed ]

Miss India Worldwide 2008 was the 17th edition of the international female pageant. The final was held in Johannesburg, South Africa on February 23, 2008. About 20 countries were represented in the pageant. Shagun Sarabhai of India crowned as winner at the end of the event.

Miss Earth India or Miss India Earth is a title given to the Indian woman who represents India in the Miss Earth Pageant, an annual, international beauty pageant promoting environmental awareness. The national pageant which chooses the Indian representative for Miss Earth is Glamanand Supermodel India, which became the franchise holder for the Indian Miss Earth pageant in 2015. In 2014, the first runner-up in the Miss Diva pageant was crowned Miss Diva Earth India. Previously it was Femina Miss India, and the title was Femina Miss India Earth. Glamanand Supermodel India sent India's representative to the Miss Earth 2018 pageant, which was held on 17 September.
