Shah Muhammad Khan is Pakistani politician. He had been a member of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from May 2013 to May 2018 and from August 2018 to January 2023. He belongs to Narmi Khel tribe of Baka Khel - a sub group of Utmanzai Wazir,Bannu. [1] He is a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. [2]
Shah Muhammad won the PK-72 Bannu-III provincial assembly seat in the elections of 2013 as an independent candidate and later on joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and was appointed as special assistant on transport and mass transit,and was re-elected to PK-89 (Bannu-III) in 2018. He was selected as provincial minister of transport in January 2020 [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]
In February 2022,Khan was disqualified from public office for five years by the Election Commission of Pakistan. [8] The Islamabad High Court later overturned the election commission's decision. [9]
Former Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani accused Malik Shah Muhammad Khan in a bombing incident which he was proved clear later by court.[ citation needed ]
Shah Muhammad Khan Wazir headed the 25-member forum from KPk that departed for China on June 17,2016 to participate in the commencement ceremony of Sino Pak International Logistic Complex (SPIL) in China. SPIL was launched in order to build a modern land logistic system and advance the infrastructure construction process for the “China Pakistan Economic Corridor”. [10] [11]
Bannu also called Bana and Bani is a city located on the Kurram River in southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,Pakistan. It is the capital of Bannu Division. Bannu's residents are primarily members of the Banuchi tribe and speak Banuchi (Baniswola),a dialect of Pashto which is similar to the distinct Waziristani dialect. The residents regardless of their tribes are commonly called Banusi,Banuchi or Banisi.
The Wazirs or Waziris are a Karlani Pashtun tribe found mainly in the Pakistan-Afghanistan border region. The Utmanzai Wazir are settled in the North Waziristan and Bannu Subdivision Wazir and the Ahmadzai Wazir are in the South Waziristan,and in Domel,Bannu. Those subgroups are in turn divided further,for example into Utmanzai tribes such as the Baka Khel and Jani Khel. The Wazirs speak the Waziristani dialect of Pashto which is similar to the neighboring Banuchi and Dawari dialect but still distinct.
Pervez Khan Khattak is a Pakistani politician who served as the Minister of Defence from August 2018 until April 2022. He had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from August 2018 till January 2023. General elections were held in Pakistan on Wednesday,25 July 2018 to elect the members of 15th National Assembly and the four Provincial Assemblies. The three major parties were Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led by Imran Khan,the Pakistan Muslim League led by Shehbaz Sharif and the Pakistan Peoples Party led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the most seats in the National Assembly but fell short of a majority;the party subsequently formed a coalition government with several smaller parties. At the provincial level,the PTI remained the largest party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP);the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) retained its dominance in Sindh and the newly formed Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan. In Punjab,the result was a hung parliament with the Pakistan Muslim League (N) winning the most seats. However,after several independents MPAs joined the PTI,the latter became the largest party and was able to form a government.

On 22 July 2018,3 days before general elections,a suicide bomber blew himself near the vehicle of former KPK provincial minister of Agriculture Ikramullah Khan Gandapur in Kulachi,Dera Ismail Khan District,Pakistan. The prime target of attack,Gandapur was brought to Dera Ismail Khan in critical condition where he succumbed to his wounds. Apart from Gandapur,his driver and one of his guards was also killed and three more people were injured. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the assault describing Gandapur's killing of their colleague militants as the motive. The attack was widely condemned across Pakistan.

Muhammad Khalid Khurshid Khan is the President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Gilgit-Baltistan who served as the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan,a territory in Northern Pakistan until he was disqualified from his post on 4 July 2023 by the Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court. He was also a member of the Gilgit Baltistan Assembly from 25 November 2020 until his disqualification.
General elections were held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday,25 July 2018 to elect the 51 members of 15th National Assembly from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) obtained a landslide victory in the province by winning 37 general seats and increased their margin of victory from 2013. The PTI also won 8 out of 10 reserved seats while the Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) and Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) won 1 reserved seat each.
