Makhdoom Syed Shah Shahbaz Muhammad Dev poori Bhagalpuri (1549-1630) known as Shahbaz Mohammad Bhagalpuri was an Indian Islamic scholar and Sufi saint during the ruling era of Mughal Emperor Jahangir. [1]

Life

Syed Shah Shahbaz Muhammad was a mureed of Shaikh Yaaseen Siwani, a Sufi saint of Suhrawardiyya order.

He was a related to the Suhrawardiyya order of Sufism. He established the Madrasa Jamia Shahbaziya in Bhagalpur. [2] [3] [4]

He is buried in Khanqah-e-Shahbaziya [5] in Maulachak, Bhagalpur in the Indian state of Bihar. [6] [7] [8]

His Urs is celebrated on 16th of Safar ul Muzaffar. [9] [10]

Urs-e-Sher-e-Bihar is a commemorative festival organized on the death anniversary of Mufti Aslam Razvi, a Sufi saint of Qadiriyya Razviyya order at Dargah-e-Sher-e-Bihar, Maksoodpur in Aurai, Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. The Urs is celebrated on 11 Safar, as per Islamic calender. Mufti Aslam Razvi was died in January 2012 and the urs festival is celebrated from December 2012.

Shamsuddin Turk Shah Wilayat Panipati (1259–1413) was a Sufi saint of Chishty and Qadiriyya order who was a mureed and only Khalifa of Makhdoom Alauddin Sabir Kaliyari. Panipati took the oath of allegiance to Khwaja Fariduddin Ganjshakar.
