New Zealand has contested 46 Miss World pageants since that pageant's inception in 1951. No New Zealander has won the Miss World title, although two have placed first runner-up.

She was a third year graduate student of the Physics Department of University of Dhaka. She is now pursuing a degree in Environmental Science and Management at Independent University Bangladesh.
