Shama Obaed Islam is a Bangladeshi politician. She is an elected Member of Parliament from the Faridpur-2 constituency. She is one of the seven women elected in the 2026 Bangladeshi general election. [1] [2] [3] She is currently serving as State Minister for Foreign Affairs. [4] Her husband is Mr. Shovon Islam, MD of Sparrow Group. [5]
