Shamaine Centenera-Buencamino (born February 28, 1965) is a Filipino actress [1] and mental health advocate [2] [3] who has appeared in more than 100 movies and television series and shows. She played the role of Virginia 'Virgie' Arevalo in the primetime action-drama series FPJ's Ang Probinsyano .

She married Filipino actor Nonie Buencamino and has four children, including the actress Julia Buencamino, who died in 2015 due to suicide. [4]

With a career spanning over 70 years, he was a founding father of Philippine university theater and one of the most prominent theater directors in the country.
