Golam Mawla, popularly known as Shamol Mawla is a Bangladeshi actor and voice artist who works predominantly in Dhallywood cinema, Bangladeshi television drama. He made his acting debut in the feature film in Sphulingo (2021). [1]
Mawla was born and grew up in Shahbag, Dhaka, Bangladesh. His father was a stage actor. Inspired by his father, he developed an interest in acting. [2]
Early in his career, Mawla worked on stage. Once, he got the opportunity to work as the voice artist of a puppeteer in the TV series Sisimpur . [2] Later, he worked as a voice dubbing artist for the Korean drama series Hotel del Luna . [3] He made his debut in the drama "Rod Brishtir Shohore", released in 2006. [4] [5]
In 2018, Mawla appeared in the thriller web series Cash, directed by Syed Ahmed Shwaki. After the release of Cash, he worked as a lead role in the web series Money Honey. [6]
Mawla's debut film Tauquir Ahmed's Sphulingo (2021). He is also acting in the film Agontuk (2024), opposite Puja Cherry. His upcoming works include Nadan and Bonolata Express. [7] [8]
