Shanghai International Arts Festival is the only national-level comprehensive international arts festival in the People's Republic of China, held once a year. [1]

Description

This festival is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China and hosted by the Shanghai Municipal Government. The inaugural China Shanghai International Arts Festival opened at the Shanghai Grand Theatre on November 2, 1999. [2] [3]

The events held at this edition of the China Shanghai International Arts Festival are primarily focused on stage performing arts. [4] Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Shanghai International Arts Festival in China was suspended from 2020 to 2022. [5]

The 1st Fighter Brigade, sometimes called 1st Air Brigade, previously 1st Fighter Division, is a fighter aircraft unit of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) based at Xianyang in Shaanxi province. Part of the Northern Theater Command Air Force, the brigade was originally established as the first division level formation of the PLAAF, established 19 June 1950. In the Korean War the unit shot down 92 airplanes. It was the first in PLAAF history to fight in air combat, provide close air support, perform night bombing operations and more. It is also the only air brigade of the People's Liberation Army Air Force to participate in five Chinese national day parades. The unit's MUCD is 93056.

Gyaincain Norbu is a Tibetan politician in the People's Republic of China. He was chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Region from 1990 to 1998. He was succeeded by Legqog.

The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) is one of the major foreign affairs organizations of the People's Republic of China. Wang Zigan was a modern papercutting artist, master of arts and crafts, and famous Shanghai-style papercutter. His most important representative works are "The crowing of the cock", "Chicken eats centipede", etc. Some of his published works include "Selected papercutting works of Wang Zigan", "History of Shanghai papercutting" and "The creation of papercutting".
