Shani Arshad is a Pakistani film music director, songwriter, TV jingle composer, playback singer and record producer. He has composed music for various television serials and films including Actor in Law , Na Maloom Afraad , Load Wedding , Teefa in Trouble , and The Donkey King . Shani Arshad, as a music composer, has made 16 super hit films background score and 18 television Soundtracks , also he has directed 11 musical compositions in Coke Studio (Pakistan). Shani Arshad also made orchestral music with Hungarian orchestra "Budapest Film Orchestra" for the film The Donkey King. [1] [2] He earned wider recognition for composing the OST of the popular Pakistani drama serial Tere Bin (Kya Hoti Hai Bewafai)

Career

Shani Arshad was born in the home of musician Ustad Arshad Ali. He started his career as a keyboard player at an early age 15. [2] He joined Eagle Record Company as a remix producer in 1998, where he was asked to make Vital Signs band's remix album, and that album was Shani's introduction to the pop industry. He has worked with well-known Pakistani musicians including Junaid Jamshed, [1] Atif Aslam, Abida Parveen, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ali Zafar, Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan, Zeb Bangash, Meesha Shafi, QB, Hadiqa Kiyani, Shehzad Roy, [1] [3] Fakhir, Strings, Haroon, Jimmy Attre, Raheem Shah, Najam Sheraz, Fakhar-e-Alam, Aamir Zaki, Sajjad Ali. Two times ARY Films Awards winner for best music and Two times winner for best ost and best jingle at Hum TV Awards and SEPMA. Shani also has been nominated thrice for Lux Style Awards and also twice for The Muzik Awards. He also appeared in #CokeStudio9 and #CokeStudio10 as a singer and a music producer. [2]

The Producers Guild Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer is given by the producers of the film and television guild as part of its annual award ceremony to recognise the best Indian film of the year. Following its inception in 2004, no one was awarded in 2005 and 2007.

Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, sometimes abbreviated as JPNA is a 2015 Pakistani adventure comedy film directed by Nadeem Baig. It was co-produced by Humayun Saeed, Salman Iqbal and Shahzad Nasib at Saeed's production house, Six Sigma Plus. It is the first installment in the Jawani Phir Nahi Ani film series. The film stars Humayun Saeed, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahmad Ali Butt, Vasay Chaudhry and Mehwish Hayat. The supporting cast includes Sohai Ali Abro, Jawed Sheikh, Ismail Tara, Bushra Ansari, Ayesha Khan, Sarwat Gillani and Uzma Khan. The film is about a single man who is a divorce lawyer. He takes his three married friends on a trip to help them escape their wives and the monotony of their lives.

Rabia Iqbal Khan known by her stage name Kubra Khan is a British-Pakistani actress who works in Urdu television and films. She made her debut in 2014 with the film Na Maloom Afraad. Khan is described among the nation's highest-paid actresses by the media.

Nadeem Baig is Pakistani film and television director, producer and writer from Karachi. Baig won the Lux Style Award For Best Director for Punjab Nahi Jaungi.

Actor in Law is a 2016 Pakistani socio-comedy film directed by Nabeel Qureshi, co-written and produced by Fizza Ali Meerza along with Mehdi Ali. The film was released on Eid-ul-Adha 2016 by Urdu 1 Pictures. The film stars Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat in lead roles. The cast also includes veteran Indian actor Om Puri in his first Pakistani film. On 19 April 2017, the movie received the Best Film award at the 16th Lux Style Awards.

<i>Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2</i> 2018 Pakistani Urdu-language flim

Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2, sometimes abbreviated as JPNA 2, is a 2018 Pakistani Urdu-language romantic comedy film, directed by Nadeem Baig and written by Vasay Chaudhry. It is a joint venture of Salman Iqbal Films, Humayun Saeed and Shahzad Nasib's Six Sigma Plus, and Jerjees Seja's ARY Films. It is sequel to the 2015 film Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, and the second installment in Jawani Phir Nahi Ani film series. The cast includes Humayun Saeed, Ahmed Ali Butt, Vasay Chaudhry, Uzma Khan and Sarwat Gillani all of whom reprise their roles from previous film, along with Fahad Mustafa, Kubra Khan, and Mawra Hocane who join the franchise.
