Shaped by Fate were a five-piece metalcore band from South Wales, UK. They were lauded as "the future of British Metalcore" by Kerrang! magazine which described the band's music as "some of the tastiest, heaviest, most shredding metal this island's seen in a long time". [1]
Shaped by Fate toured across the UK and Europe with the likes of Parkway Drive, Suicide Silence, The Chariot, Every Time I Die, Becoming the Archetype, Bury Your Dead, Raging Speedhorn, Funeral for a Friend and Sikth.
After a series of EPs, Shaped by Fate released their debut album The Unbeliever in 2007 through In At The Deep End Records and digitally via Distort Entertainment. The album was recorded in Foel Studios, Wales, with Andrew Schneider.
The band released a limited edition DVD filmed during the Parkway Drive Tour at the end of 2008, entitled Riffage and Wreckage.
In early 2011 Shaped by Fate signed a deal with Siege of Amida Records to release their second album (four years in the making) entitled I Fear The World Has Changed. [2]
Metalcore is a fusion genre combining elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk, that originated in the late 1980s. Metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, which are slow, intense passages conducive to moshing, while other defining instrumentation includes heavy guitar riffs often utilizing percussive pedal tones and double bass drumming. Vocalists in the genre typically perform screaming, more popular bands often combine this with the use of standard singing, usually during the bridge or chorus of a song. However the death growl is also a popular technique within the genre.

Parkway Drive have released seven studio albums, one EP, two DVDs, a split album and one book, titled Ten Years of Parkway Drive. The band's latest three albums have reached number 1 of the Australian ARIA Charts – Ire (2015), Reverence (2018), and Darker Still (2022).

Black Tide was an American heavy metal band from Kendall, Florida. Formed in 2004, the band last consisted of Gabriel Garcia, Austin Diaz and Cody Paige (drums). They released their debut album, Light from Above, on March 18, 2008 through Interscope Records when Garcia was 15 years old. Their second album, Post Mortem, was released on August 23, 2011. Black Tide's EP Bite the Bullet was released on November 12, 2013 by InnerCat Music Group, a Miami-based boutique label. On October 16, 2015 band released their last album Chasing Shadows. On July 22, 2016 Garcia announced on his Instagram that the band is over and he is concentrating on his solo project.

It Prevails is an American five-piece metalcore band from Portland, Oregon, formed in 2004. The band is influenced by melodic metalcore and classic rock, including Shai Hulud, Twelve Tribes, Strongarm, Lifetime and Hot Water Music. A premium was placed on lyrics related to struggles of the human condition and altruistic actions.
Rise to Remain was an English, London-based heavy metal band formed in 2006 and disbanded in 2015. The band made appearances at Download Festival, Sonisphere Festival and extensively toured the UK and Europe. The band released three EPs, the majority of which were "viral" releases, via their MySpace. On 16 March 2011 they signed their first major recording contract with EMI records, which was accompanied by the launch of their website and a free single download entitled "The Serpent". Their debut album, City of Vultures, was released on 5 September 2011, nearly a year after they had started work on recording the album. It was produced by revered metal producer Colin Richardson and Carl Bown. In 2014, the band released a new single entitled "Over and Over", which would be their last musical release.
Vampires Everywhere! is an American metalcore band from Los Angeles, California, currently based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The last lineup consisted of vocalist Michael Vampire and guitarists Matti Hoffman and Grey Soto. In 2021, the lead singer Michael Vampire reformed the group, and the band signed with Cleopatra Records, releasing "Witch", a single from their second EP, The Awakening, released in October 2021.
In at the Deep End Records (IATDE), founded 2000, is an independent record label based on the outskirts of Nottingham, England. The label specialises in hardcore punk and heavy metal music genres.
After Hours is the third EP by English metalcore band Glamour of the Kill. It was released on 17 November 2014 after a kickstarter campaign. Glasswerk Magazine called the EP "a slightly grittier affair than the band’s sophomore album, but it seems the four-piece are choosing to stick to their winning formula of pop-rock hooks and 80s-metal-inspired riffage. The EP features guest vocals from Craig Mabbitt of Escape The Fate and Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach."
