Sharif Khalilov (born 28 October 1989) [1] is an Uzbekistani Paralympic judoka. [2] He represented Uzbekistan at the Summer Paralympics in 2012, 2016 and 2020 and he won the silver medal in the men's 73 kg event in 2012. [2] He also won one of the bronze medals in the men's 100 kg event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics held in Tokyo, Japan.
At the 2010 Asian Para Games he won the silver medal in the men's 73 kg event.
Uzbekistan made its Paralympic Games début at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, with a single representative in powerlifting. Competing in the men's up to 75 kg category, Kadyrov failed to lift a weight. In the 2008 Summer Paralympics, Uzbekistan sent two competitors: a powerlifter and a swimmer, they failed to win any medals again.
Sharif Naidhajavovich Sharifov is a Russian-Azerbaijani former wrestler of Avar descent. Sharifov finished first in the World Championships and won a bronze in the European Championships. At the 2012 Summer Olympics Sharifov won a gold medal in the 84 kg event after defeating Puerto Rican Jaime Espinal.
