Sharon M. Pollard is an American politician who represented the Third Essex District in the Massachusetts Senate from 1977 to 1983, [1] served as Massachusetts Secretary of Energy from 1983 to 1989, [2] and was Mayor of Methuen,Massachusetts from 2000 to 2006. [3]
She is married to former State Representative Tom Lussier. [3]
Guided by Voices (GBV) is an American indie rock band formed in 1983 in Dayton,Ohio. It has made frequent personnel changes but always maintained the presence of principal songwriter Robert Pollard. Sharon is a New England town in Norfolk County,Massachusetts,United States. The population was 18,575 at the 2020 census. Sharon is part of Greater Boston,about 17 miles (27 km) southwest of downtown Boston,and is connected to both Boston and Providence by the Providence/Stoughton Line.

The Cape Wind Project was a proposed offshore wind farm on Horseshoe Shoal in Nantucket Sound off of Cape Cod,Massachusetts,United States. It was approved but then lost several key contracts and suffered several licensing and legislative setbacks. The developer,Jim Gordon of Energy Management Inc.,eventually terminated the lease rights for the site in late 2017.
