Shatru Sanghar, is a 2009 Indian Odia language directed by Sudhansu Sahu. [1] [2] This is Pine Cask's second film after the debacle of Anubhav Mohanty's Mahanayak. [3] [4] and was profitable Second highest Grossing film of 2009.

Synopsis

Ajay Patnaik's main aim is to become a boxing champion. He does goes for training to Visakhapatnam, but when he return he found that his elder brother, Bijay Patnik is missing since one month. Ajay searches every corner for his brother but no result. He loges a police complaint, still no result at last Bijay's corpse is found and Ajay is charged with killing him. After escape from jail with his friends, Ajay takes revenge and punishes the culprit Nagbhusan and Nilambar.

Initially Anubhav Mohanty was signed to play the hero of the film, but he opted out due to date problems. [5]

Kanhu Charan Mohanty was an Indian Odia language novelist who wrote fifty-six novels in a career spanning over six decades from 1930 to 1985. He is considered "one of the most popular and celebrated novelists of Odisa". Mohanty was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1958 for his novel, Kaa, published in 1956, and was one of the fellows of the Sahitya Akademi. Mohanty died on 6 April 1994 at the age of 87.

Hakim Babu is a 1985 Indian Odia-language drama film directed by Pranab Das and starring Ajit Das, Jaya Swami and Bijaya Jena. The film marks the second collaboration between Pranab and Ajit Das after Sesha Pratikhya (1979). The story is based on Bibhuti Patnaik's novel of the same name and talks about industrialization and displacement in an Odisha village.
