The band recorded several singles that reached the U.S. top 10 during the 1980s, including "Manic Monday" (1986), "Walk Like an Egyptian" (1986), "Hazy Shade of Winter" (1987), "In Your Room" (1988), and "Eternal Flame" (1989).
Belinda Jo Carlisle is an American singer and songwriter. She gained fame as the lead vocalist of the Go-Go's, the most successful all-female rock band of all time, and went on to have a prolific career as a solo artist.

Another well-known version is by James Taylor from his album Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon. The two versions were recorded simultaneously in 1971 with shared musicians.

The song, originally performed in a more blues-orientated style, was inspired by artists such as Lead Belly and Big Bill Broonzy. Two versions were recorded, with the second performance used for the final single. Although it was rumoured that future Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page had performed the song's guitar solo, this has been debunked.

You Boyz Make Big Noize is a song by English rock band Slade, released in 1987 as a non-album single. It was written by lead vocalist Noddy Holder and bassist Jim Lea, and was produced by Lea. Named after the band's 1987 album of the same name, the song reached number 94 in the UK Singles Chart and remained in the top 100 for the one week.
Joanna Cotten is an American country music singer. Cotten's debut single, "The Prize," peaked at number 60 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Cotten recorded 21 songs for an unreleased album for Warner Bros. Records. She split from the label in December 2007 after the release of a digital-only extended play. Cotten has continued to record and tour. From 2013 to 2022, she was a member of Eric Church's band, until she quit in July 2022.

All Saints are an English girl group formed in London in 1993. They were founded as All Saints 1.9.7.5 by music manager Ron Tom. with members Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis, and Simone Rainford. The group struggled to find commercial success upon being signed to ZTT Records and were dropped by the label shortly after Rainford left the group. In 1996, the group were joined by Canadian sisters Nicole and Natalie Appleton and signed to London Records under their shortened name.
RLY are an English pop music girl group formed on The X Factor: The Band. They went onto win the series, subsequently signing to Syco Music however, the label went defunct and is no longer in operation. The group then later signed to Warner in August 2022 and then Real / Darco Recordings. The band is composed of Halle Williams, Virginia Hampson, Kellimarie Willis, Jess Folley and Kyra West. On 3 August 2023, the group released their debut single "Love Me Or Not".
